Relationship therapist advice please.
« on: August 30, 2019, 07:32:36 pm »
Hello mga sis, anyone here who can help me or a therapist/psychologist that can analyze the result. I just recently broke-up with my ex, reason was I found out he has an online affair Now he didn't admit it was his fault. Sobrang sakit nung nalaman ko. Kaso ( yong disorder obsession daw nya na uncontrollable ang dahilan kung bakit nya nagawa.) He asked me to talked to his therapist para ma explain lahat. So eto po yung email ng therapist nya. yung result kung bakit nya nagawa ang panloloko sa akin. What's your take on this?

Thank you, (blank) this way I don?t feel so invasive sharing some thoughts with Macblush

Hello macblush my name is Sylvia (this is closer to psychiatry here in (blank), not general counselling). I?m 52 years old, and have been in practice for the last 27 years. Boy has been my patient for the last 15 years, on and off. I have his permission to share with you his diagnose and struggle. Extremely confidential and, I hope, of some use in your own sorrow.

He has a severe and permanent personality disorder OCPD; he has been struggling with ?nner torture since the age of 14. One of the secondary life areas that was SERIOUSLY damaged was his capacity to have standard normalized relationships with other members of his own age, SPECIALLY girls. As a consequence he was alone for long and crucial years (over 25).

After having reached other more important objectives in therapy, some 3 years ago we started going for this specific objective: covering life experience gaps in his past that were becoming more than obsessions- real tortures. This last trip was part of it. And he met you! And told me he couldn?t do his ?homework?, as I like to call his therapy objectives.

Other than his constant struggle with obsessive attacks and inner torture, he is one of the most honest, clean, kind hearted human beings I have ever met, in practice and in life. And I?m terribly sorry for your own sorrow, which I can imagine. But I would not be telling the truth and being fair if I didn?t shout that it is a symptom and not a man, which hurt you!.

With my best wishes, please feel free to make any questions you need.

^hello sis. i am not a therapist pero ang masasabi ko lang is kaya mo ba to deal with that kind of behavior? so kaya siya ganyan is because he is sick, may gamot daw ba?

you did the right thing by breaking up with him, cheating is cheating regardless of what caused it. much worse kung nalaman mong sakit pala siya kasi it means gagawin niya ulit iyan.

if i were you i would run as fast as i can and as far away from that guy as possible.

Iwan mo na sis. I won?t sugarcoat dahil dama ko stress mo and its not worth it na ituloy pa.
Gagawin at gagawin nya yan over and over. At masasaktan ka lang over and over.
Pwede ba hindi na uso magpaka-martir ngayon.
