^how old is your son na sis?ako sinasamantala ko na yung time na gusto pa nya ang nakadapa on my chest habang baby pa sya :)

sabi nila, other babies can sleep on their own as early as 4mos,depende sa training siguro at kung kaya na ni baby, hindi naman pwedeng i-force yun e,depende talaga sa baby..

nakakatawa si baby tonight..nag-feed sya then kinarga ko muna to burp, after nyang mag-burp ng pagkalaki-laki ;D,hiniga ko then dinapa ko sa bed..pagkadapa nya, wala pang 30secs. tulog na..natawa kami ng daddy nya, pati si lola napailing na lang..hehe..siguro more than an hour syang nakadapa na tulog, basta nakabantay kami, then binalik na namin sa tihaya, ngayon heto sarap ng tulog sa tabi ko,taas-kamay pa :P

^my question too! I want my baby to be able to put herself back to sleep when she wakes up during the night. One time I put her back in her crib at 3AM after she'd been up for 2 hours na. She kept babbling to herself, not crying naman. Unfortunately my hubby woke up, which he never does! I guess she was noisy. Ayun I had to get up anyways, I think she finally went to sleep at 4AM that night, 3 hours after waking up  :(

Probably won't happen anytime soon for us, my baby is teething na and has on and off fever due to it. For the past 2 nights na she's demanded to be carried during the night. I've had to let her sleep with her yaya already as I need to rest too.

Help sisters!! My baby's sleeping habits have deteriorated dramatically over the past 2 weeks, she hardly sleeps - both at night and during the day.

She used to sleep thru the night but now will wake every 30 minutes to an hour and sleeps maybe a total of 7-8 hours only during the night. She takes short naps also during the day, some as short as 10-15 minutes only.

I've read that babies at this age (5-6 months) should be sleeping a total of 14 hours a day. She's getting so much less than that  :( I've tried putting her to bed earlier but same parin or she just wakes up earlier too. My yaya is exhausted and Im afraid she will leave  :(

^omg, she might be very curious of her surroundings sis. have you tried letting her play to get exhausted? this way, she MIGHT have a better sleep, especially during the day. try to expose and stimulate her more so that she gets tired then fall to sleep better. this has worked for us. but in the evening, my baby lies down on my chest. else, he will be waking up from time to time.

yes, we make her play so she gets tired but it's still the same. I noticed the one day last week she slept thru the night was when she cried a lot in the evening (maybe being overtired?). I don't want to do that every night though  :(

She used to sleep soundly on my chest but now she wants to be carried standing up! I was so desperate Sunday night I had her sleep on her tummy and she slept 4 hours straight.

Our pedia said she doesn't sleep well as she's hungry. We've switched her daytime feeds to am+milk and she finished them all and give her feeds at night too but nothing has changed.

I'm getting so frustrated as my baby is behind on her weight na, she's only 6.4 kilos at 5.5 months. A big factor is her sleep....

Problem ko din ito sa baby ko.  He's almost 6 weeks and from what I know dapat sleepyheads sila at this age pero siya ever since, ang hirap kumuha ng tulog.  Dati after feeding nakakatulog pero konting galaw lang sa kanya--burp or fart nya, nagigising na siya tapos sa daytime around 6-7 hours lang siguro ang tulog nya tapos sa gabi mga 8 hours---pero putul-puto yun ha?  around 1.5-2 hours at a time.

Grabe, pagod na pagod na ako kasi for six weeks, iyak lang siya ng iyak pag gising which is most of the time, quiet lang sya pag dede tapos di naman matutulog--iiyak na naman.  ito nga ang trigger ng post partum ko kasi talaga hindi ako maka-rest kasi lagi siyang umiiyak.  help please!

Is your baby colicky? At our last pedia visit i brought up the problem we had, my pedia said it's coz she's not full. So we switched out my baby's water for am with formula. Her milk is nan ha one which tastes bad, the am helps with the taste. 3 weeks later my baby is on a great schedule na! She goes to sleep at 7pm and will fully wake at 6am na! She'll still have 1-2 feeds in the night, but huge improvement!!!

madali ang patulugin [textspeak!] baby ko before.. pareho lang kame nakahiga while we have a lullaby music sa background. ngayon, ganun padin naman sya, pero lately napapadalas yung gising nya sa madaling araw. parang nananaginip kase nakapikit naman sya pero umiiyak tas nagpapakarga, then ang gusto pa nya nasa sala kame while carrying her up right. (she's 21 months old na and quite heavy) minsan sumusuko ako sa kanya and i have to put her sa yaya nya para makatulog. kaya lang ang hirap minsan kase ayoko naman na masanay yung anak ko na si yaya lang ang kilala pag matutulog na. :(

Now at 4 mos., my baby sleeps early (10:00-10:30pm). To help her sleep, I breastfeed her with matching zen music niya (Twinkle Twinkle little star). Favorite niya talaga ang song na yan and it calms her whenever in bad mood. Even in afternoons for her nap, i play that song to lull her.

Wow, good for you, sis!  I don't know if colicky siya e.  His milk is S26-HA and I'm pretty sure busog siya pagtulog.  I raised this concern with his pedia and he suggested using a duyan, but I'm hesitant dahil hassle sa pag setup, wala kaming space sa house saka paano kung masanay siya dun, when I go back to work dadalahin pa yung duyan sa MIL ko? :(

Na-observe ko lang, talagang gusto ni baby carry siya palagi and kapag rocked to sleep siya, happy siya pero gusto ko na talaga siyang i-train to sleep on his own.

^what time does your baby sleep? I've read that putting your baby to sleep earlier promotes longer and better sleep and it has worked for my baby. She goes to bed by 7PM and wakes up 6AM na. Your baby could be overtired and thus wanting to be carried.

My baby will occasionally wake in the night for feeds or she just gets fussy. I no longer have to carry her but just pop back her pacifier and pat my butt/leg and she goes right back to sleep.

Thanks so much sa support, sisses!

Naku this is one of the challenges talaga of being a mom. Si baby ko rin nasanay sa karga ng lola at lola sa tuhod :) pero kapag gabi na, I really make it a point na ako magpapatulog. I hum Brahm's lullaby and konting cuddle lang, tulog na sya. Pero kapag minsan hirap sya kumuha ng antok, karga ko ng konti then sway sway. :)
