Sabihin mo lang sa cab na Khao San. Na-try ko na yan, no idea ako noon at mag-isa. Sinabi ko lang Khao San, binaba na niya ako sa umpisa nung street tapos naglakad lakad nako dun.

Just got back from BKK and we really enjoyed our trip! Its a mixture of business (for hubby) and pleasure (for me & him na rin) trip. He had a convention for several days and I grabbed the opportunity to tag along.

We stayed at Plaza Athenee Hotel along Wireless road. It is a very nice 5-star hotel and very accessible, about 5-minute walk to BTS Ploenchit station.

I made the itinerary and we went to the following places/tours/activities:

- Baiyoke Sky (Bangkok Balcony - 81st floor outdoor seating) for our first dinner in BKK
- Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha tour
- Siam Niramit show with buffet dinner (superb show, elephant ride for 100 baht; food served are so-so)
- Chao Phraya Princess 4 dinner cruise (great food & ambience!)
- Madame Tussauds wax museum

I booked our activities from Hotels2Thailand. They are very efficient and reliable and most of all they have the cheapest online booking I could find. Try to book din there for your tours in the future 

Of course, hindi mawawala ang shopping in BKK! We went to MBK, Siam Paragon & Siam Discovery Center ni hubby. Then, at times that he's busy with work, I went to Central World and Platinum malls alone to buy stuff for me and pasalubong for our kids and family. Clothes, shoes and bags are so affordable! They don't really have the best quality but for us girls who often change wardrobe, it is best to buy affordable but fashionable clothes & shoes

I super miss BKK, our hotel, the all-day shopping and all the great things that we experienced there.

hi mga sis, eto yun draft itinerary na naprepare ko for our Jun trip. pa help naman check and comment. first timers kami lahat sa BKK.

bale 5pax kami lahat. first batch e 3pax (kami ng parents ko) tapos may susunod na dadating na isa pa then last yun isa.

Day 1 (Fri):
midnight arrival / take taxi to accommodation
--> wala pang final na accommodation e. anyone familiar dun sa By The Station Guesthouse? sa tabi/likod daw ng Jim Thompson yun. wala kasi ako mahanap na reviews e. at saka sa Krit Thai Mansion? super lapit lang daw sa National Stadium na BTS kaso lang di ko sure kung malinis at maayos. baka kasi super luma naman.

ang iba pang nasa short list ko e yun Siam Swana saka Golden House VIP.

Day 2 (Sat):
shopping day (hehe, sa shopping talaga sinimulan ang trip )
- Chatuchak --> what time nag oopen ang mga stores sa Chatuchak? balak ko kasi mga 7am pupunta na kami dun para di naman kami abutin ng super init dun.
- Siam Paragon
- MBK
- Platinum
- Pratunam
- Chinatown
- Big C -> grocery items
- Central World (for dinner in Din Tai Fung)

lunch na lang kung saang foodcourt maabutan. at good luck na lang kung mapuntahan lahat hehe

Day 3 (Sun):
- Muang Boran - 8:30am yun arrival time nun isang kasama namin so hihintayin lang namin sya tapos diretso na kami dito.
- Siam Niramit - by 5 or 5:30pm daw dapat andito na para makapagpa picture sa elephant. mas ok ba magbook direct sa site nila or mas tipid sa mga travel agency?

Day 4 (Mon):
blank pa. iniisip ko pa kung ano pwedeng isingit dito. masyado bang redundant kung mag Ayutthaya kami? kasi nabasa ko puro temples din daw dun.

Day 5 (Tue):
by this time nakarating na rin yun isa pang kasama namin so dito ko issingit ang temple tours.
- 8:30am grand palace
- w at po
- w at arun

dito hindi ko na alam kung ano pa pwede ko isingit. past midnight pa kasi yun flight naming 3. maiiwan dun yun 2 kasama namin. siguro shopping na lang ulit hehe.

balak ko mga 8pm pa lang after ng dinner e pupunta na kami sa airport. sabi daw kasi masyadong busy ang airport, madaming tao at mahaba ang pila. so para di na kami magahol sa oras e aagahan na namin ang punta. pag nagtaxi ng ganung time, matrapik pa rin ba sya? ilan oras kaya aabutin byahe nun? wala daw kasing escalator at elevator sa train pa-airport so mahirap magbitbit ng maleta kaya iniisip kong mag taxi na lang.

Sis lakwatsa: I think Chatuchak opens at around 8-9am (according sa mga thai friends ko, di ako naka visit nun nasa bkk ako kasi ang init)

Tip sa pratunam, the stores there open early, like mga 7:30-8am madame ng bukas. They close early din, around 3-4pm. Pag sunday naman madame closed na stores sa pratunam

Sa platinum naman, kung kaya sunday kayo pumunta sunday na lang. Hehe nun pumunta kasi kame both sat and sun napansin namen na mas onti ang tao ng sunday compared sa sat. Kakaiba yun tao pag sat, di ka makakaikot ng maayos kasi masikip.

Sa flight niyo naman since past midnight, okay lang na mga 8pm na kayo pumunta. Kame din kasi nun 1:35am ang flight pabalik. Nasa airport na kame ng mga almost 9pm (maaga kasi kame hinatid dahil may kasabay kame na 12mn ang flight). Yes busy pa din sa airport ng mga ganun time pero di naman mahaba ang pila. Nag check in kame mga 11:30pm na (nag open yung check in counter ng 10:30pm) eh busy kame may stino-stalk sa airport hehe. Tapos pumunta kame immigration almost 12:30am na. No hassle at all. Walang pila.  Btw, I cant really say kung traffic ng ganun time (8pm papunta airport) kasi sunday kame nun pabalik, so maluwag ang kalye.

6PM - XXX - Khao San road (we are looking for Muay Tay show here) / Soi Cowboy

Day 2: Saturday

7AM - 12 PM - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
2PM - 5PM - Chao Phraya River & Waterways
6PM - XXX - Chatuchak Weekend Market

We will be staying at Lub D...

BTW, san pwede sumakay ng elephants?

^sis in Autthaya, I saw some tourists who rode elephants there. Maybe you can your tour guide to bring you to the place where you can avail 'elephant riding'
