^Better sa fridge for longer shelf life. Niece ko who's one year old kinakain niya on its own straight from the fridge.

^I've tried the red one. It's queso de bola. For me mas prefer ko this one compared to the regular blue ones. Oh and dapat naka-fridge ang mga soft cheeses.

^ thank you sis.. ahh the blue one with the % of fat is the regular one? Akala ko it's the low fat option and the queso de bola is the regular variety.

:) Apart from bread/toasted bread.. which cracker goes well with laughing cow? Skyflakes, Fita?? :)

^sis iba-ibang variants meron sila. The ones available here that I remember are the light blue na low-fat, the dark blue yung regular, red na queso de bola, meron din yata na pimiento. For me I go for bland na crispbreads like Wasa to partner with cheese para lilitaw yung lasa ng cheese. Yung hindi ba ma overpower. Okay rin sky flakes since medyo bland yung lasa nya.

just had the laughing cow cheese (Queso de Bola variant) for breakfast with skyflakes. Masarap :) and I had two wedges ..di palang ako sanay sa texture niya..sobrang nalalambotan ako.. soft cheese siya kahit nasa fridge palagi..because of the texture, I cant imagine na I would it this on its own, for now..

will buy again! ;D thanks sa suggestions shygirl, ataypool and mama squeak!! :)

I've tried laughing cow cheese, too! Di naman siya extraordinary, but I like the creaminess. Tama lang for me. The thing that I like most is that marami siyang varieties. And the price is quite affordable.

Anyway, kwento ko lang...When my mom and I were in Paris back in the 90s, one of the things we made sure to bring home was cheese. So, our Filipino host brought us to a supermarket na sabi niya, similar sa SM yung branding. When we told the supermarket personnel that we were looking for cheese to bring home to the Philippines, dinala niya kami sa isang floor na puno ng cheese. It was heaven for me! Ang daminnnngggg cheese! Some of the varieties there were unfamiliar to my mom and I. So, we had a difficult time trying to decide which one to bring home. We finally decided on some Gouda and two other varieties na new sa amin. I cannot even remember their names!

Yung realization ko at that time was, "Wow! Ang daming cheese varieties pala! Ilan lang kaya dito ang meron sa Pilipinas?" Looks like we have a long way to go pa in terms of "cheese culture exposure". ;)

Perfect ang cheeses sa lowcarb diet.  Babybel na cheese rounds ang ginagawa kong snacks now. 1 sa umaga one sa afternoon.

Last month naguwi ako ng Boursin cheeses with different flavors sa Pinas, sarap na sarap kapatid ko. Pwede daw gawing biz haha!

Stilton georgian and meule are the bomb!!!

Regarding cream cheese and soft/fresh cheese- always read the ingredients.  Dont buy if it has carrageenan, vegetable oil and gums (xanthan gum, guar gum, carob bean gum, locust bean gum....etc)

Why? Kasi binders yan.

Even in ice cream puro ganyan ingredients. Wala matino local ice cream dito sa pinas. Ang matino imported nga lang haagen dazs.  Sana bumalik na.

I will try those sounds yummy.
