Hotels in San Francisco

Hi mga sis...  need your help in choosing affordable hotels that's clean and nice near the tourist spots in SF. I'm helping my aunt kasi she's going there this Aug 28-Sept 4 and it's her first time in SF. Bale kasi she'll be in LA from Aug 22-28 (will stay in holiday inn) and she'll take the greyhound bus going to SF on the 28th din. Kaso she's not familiar dun and she asked me to book a hotel in SF. Ang daming hotels na nakikita ko pero don't know kung maganda yun or malapit sa tourist spots para hindi sya magkaproblem.

Can you please suggest hotels with a budget range of no more than 100usd per night...

i stayed at the handlery in union square. it's a relatively small hotel but very clean and is located right in the heart of the city, walking distance from macy's.

I'll be stopping over in SFO for one night in August. Since very expensive the central hotels I decided to use Hotwire again. Once again it didn't fail me. I just got Parc 55 Hotel for USD78.00++ only! Not bad na and it has good reviews in Tripadvisor.

For our first 5 days there, we stayed at Biltmore Hotel and Suites in Santa Clara and moved to Hilton Hotel in San Francisco Airport on our last 3 days. Hilton was very luxurious and all but mas gusto ko Biltmore kase free wifi sa room and mas madame channels sa cable. Sa Hilton lahat kelangan bayaran. No wonder the Hiltons are very rich!

I had a culinary tour around Little Italy in SF today with husband. Gosh, too much bread and pizza. (Hello, Italian cuisine!) Guys, take the culinary tour when in SF. Sooo worth it! Just Google.

Mga sis...  hubby and i are going to Canada and then US sa August for a much needed vacation.  Anyone who can suggest a reasonably priced place we can stay in?  or kung may kilala kayo someone who rents out a room .  Place na safe and accessible sa tourist spots.

^which part of Canada and the US are you particularly staying?
Comfort Inn and those microtel under the same group is an affordable place to stay. Just check the location, nothing fancy about the room but ok naman ang service, free wifi and breakfast pa.

^^A cheaper alternative for long stays is to rent an apartment. Check airbnb.com, I've used them when we rented an apartment in Paris.
