How true is it that if you stop looking for love it will come naturally?

I hear this phrase a lot about how it you don?t search for a partner, the odds of you meeting someone will increase and it will all happen naturally and you will meet and bond like how true love is meant to. I?m really curious about if this is true. I?ve been doing this so far in my life and it?s been 23 years of being single.
