Should I break up on him?
« on: March 04, 2020, 12:40:44 am »
Hello. Just a background of our relationship. We are officemates but we rarely talk about work because we are on a different teams but our stations are on the same  floor. Also, we dont usually talk in the office coz we don't like our bosses to find out our relationship but both our colleagues, family and friends knows our relationship. We've been together as couple for 5 months now. At first he is really sweet to me. He will do all the efforts that he could possibly do even on his busy days.

But this past month, I feel that my boyfriend is ignoring me. I don't know if he still love me. He always says that he loves me but his actions were different. Most of the time he prefers watching tv or playing games rather than texting me.

I already confronted him about what I feel several times and it always leads to argument. He says he's just busy which I already know that is true but what I've been worrying is that he has time to play on this mobile but he will just text me before he sleep like goodnight babe sweet dreams and then thats it. I cannot talk to him after office hours coz he is always doing overtime. I also asked him several times if he still loves me his answer was always yes iloveyou.

Now I tried not to talk to him for 2 days now and he doesn't do any move to talk to me. Our pictures and status in social media also our nicknames in messenger were still there and not hidden so I don't think he cheats unless the other party is aware that he has a girlfriend but I doubt it coz I'm seeing him in the office. That's why there is a little hope that maybe he needs time. Should I just keep silent too and give him space. Or should I just give up and break up with him? What if I break up and then he just agreed without doing or asking anything. I already said all my thoughts but he still in silence and I don't want to flood him with questions like "why are you ignoring me"? Please help. 😭

Give him space.

Try to communicate with your partner. Tell him what's bothering you. If he doesn't make an effort to make you feel better, then it's best to end the relationship. Di naman kasi pwdeng ikaw lang yung nag eeffort sa relationship nyo. When was the last time you went out together?

Importanteng nageeffort ang both parties to make the relationship work. Di pwedeng ikaw at ikaw lang ang nagrereach out.

Paano ba siya nung nanlligaw sayo? Nagbago na ba nung naging kayo? Kasi nanghihingi ka na ng atensyon.

If kinakausap mo naman siya at inexpress mo na nararamdaman mo about certain things tapos he doesn't do anything, maybe it's time to reassess the relationship. Ang bilis naman niya tamarin. 5 months pa lang dapat nasa clingy levels pa yan. But still take my opinion as a grain of salt as I do not know your bf personally. Ikaw nakakakilala ng ugali nyan so magisip isip ka na kung itutuloy mong makisama or hinde sa ganyang klaseng ugali :)

Guy here.  In most of my experiences, I tend to take for granted my past girl friends.  Guys usually 'what we call confident or assured' that GFs always there no matter what (kampante ba na andyan lang sya). Girls typically is counter intuitive. In conjunction to that, girls fall in love due to the fact that sweetness, caring and loving a guy portray in courting (honeymoon and limerence  stage).  This falls out in the process for most of couples or guys. You in this stage, still in that honeymoon stage or limirence. This kills the relationship if you both take this for granted and work this thing out.  After this stage, emotional connection, friendship, companionship will be brought to the table which sustains the relationship.

Now, your BF I think is confident enough that you are there, always there. You put him to your priority or in a pedestal. Try not to contact him for couple of days. Let him do the initiative. This is tough but be strong. Humans in general will have the urge to have fear of loosing something they have. Let me know if you need advice if you further pursue this...

Don't worry you will be fine.
