Hi ms Belle_v2g! Ikaw ba sis ang mag-papa pictorial? It depends kung hanggang ang prefer mo to show-up. For some photographers, better if willing si mom-to-be to show some skin, maganda kasi ang mga silhouette shots to show off the bump. And the fabric fits perfectly on the skin kapag less ang suot. May con lang kapag ganito, better to do this in a studio, less people, more privacy, better lighting

I have a friend who did their maternity shoot sa house lang nila. They just hired a photographer (hourly ang rate, but affordable naman daw kasi kasama na makeup), and I think professional photographer talaga siya, pero personal contact nila. Parang former officemate yata.

Anyway, since may maliit na garden naman sila, they took some of the shots there. May shot sa swing ('yung rope lang na swing), and then meron sa grass na parang nakasandal 'yung friend ko sa hubby niya, pero half lang ng body ni hubby nakita sa final image. Nag-shoot din sila sa loob ng bedroom. And there were two silhouettes: one, a solo by the window na naka-undies lang 'yung friend ko. Super dramatic and artistic 'yung effect. 'Yung pangalawa naman, nakaharap sila ng hubby niya sa mirror, 'yung arms ni hubby naka-wrap around sa tummy ng friend ko. Undies si mommy, fully in boxers and t-shirt si daddy.

The photographer gave my friend the freedom to choose what kind of poses to do and what type of shots to take, so everybody happy. I'm sure maraming mga photographers ang papayag ng ganitong agreement.

Magandang idea 'yan! Yung friend na kinuwento ko? The one who had the maternity shoot? The same thing ang ginawa niya. Yung nag-shoot sa kanyang maternity photos, 'yun na rin ang nag-shoot sa baby niya. Primary reason niya is kasi kakilala na niya yung photographer and they had a good working relationship sa unang shoot. So comfort and trust yung importante. I think siya na rin 'yung kukunin na official photographer sa first birthday ng baby niya, although matagal-tagal pa 'yon.

I think it's also important to consider the comfort and trust factors for maternity shoots. Parang medyo personal na rin kasi siya, di ba?

Hi sisses. Anyone tried to have their maternity shoot sa studio namu?  How is their inhouse photographers?  Hindi kasi ako marunong mag pose so kelangan ko ng photographer na ididirect din ako.  Thanks.  Mas mura kasi package if sa kanila na rin photographer kesa studio rental at sa akin pa photographer.

Were planning to have a DIY Maternity Shoot just like what we had sa prenup namin. Papapicture lang ko sa kapatid ko and ako na lang mageedit. Kaya lang wala kong maisip na venue. Huhu . Sa prenup kasi we did it at Chinese Garden Manila. Ngayon i am torn between doing it indoor or outdoor.

Buhayin ko lang tong thread. I'm scheduled for a Maternity Shoot this June 30. DIY lang kasi yung BIL ko na photography enthusiast ang kukuha. We booked Henry Hotel. Sabi nila, 32 weeks daw yung best time to have the shoot pero since maliit pa tiyan ko, niset ko on my 34th week para maganda pagkakabilog ng bump ko. I'll just do my own make-up. This week, medyo nabubusy ako sa pagtitingin ng pegs sa pinterest.

Done with my maternity shoot at Henry's hotel, Pasay. I loved the place and ganda ng bath tub kaya naachieve ko yung dream bath tub shot ko 

Also, sarap ng food nila and overall, ganda ng ambiance.

Hi sis, naghair and make up ka pa? We're planning din ng DIY ni hubby pero torn ako whether sa bahay or sa hotel din. Also consideration ko nga ang hair and make up dahil parang ang pail kapag hindi made up ang face sa shoot. Kahit no make up look man lang. hehe.

^hello sis. Ako na lang nagmake up ng sarili ko. I borrowed my MOH gown during my wedding, then I used my lingeries na lang din. Purely DIY. I just bought a bouquet of flowers as props.
