maternity package in Medical Center Manila

Hi mommies! Meron po bang nakakaalam ng maternity package sa MCM sa UN Ave? Dun ko sana plan manganak next year..

Hello sis, dito ako nirefer ng OB ko na mag give birth next year. Naka pag inquire ka na ng rates? wala ako mahanap, kaya hubby and i might go there next week para mag inquire nalang directly. though sabi ni ob, prepare daw ako up to 60k for normal delivery.

Hi sis katrinac!  Nag inquire ako sa Manila Med last December at eto ang rates nila: Ward (6 beds) - 650, Semi-private (2 beds) - 1,300, REgular Private - 2,200, Large Private - 2,400, Suite - 3,000. Nakapag inquire ka na ba? Sabi ni OB prepare daw ako ng 70-80K for CS delivery.

I planned to give birth din sa MCM this January or February this year, wala silang maternity package unlike manila doctors, it will all depend sa OB at sa room mo.. my OB quoted 40-45k for NSD with NO complications and 80K for CS.

Though she said 60K is for complicated daw. May check up ako sa kanya this coming Sat, hingi ako ng ibang rates sa ibang rooms. When I asked her if aabutin ba ng 100K ang CS, sabi nya masyado na daw malaki yun.

From las pinas kasi ako, kaso ito na daw yung pinakamura na hospital kung san affiliated si OB ko. though accredited din sya sa Madocs. Familiar ka ba sa rates nila dun sis?

Sis, yung bestfriend ko inabot ng 94K yung bill nila normal lang yun ah. Ganun din ang ipreprare nung isa kong friend na due this katapusan.

^ Sa Madocs ako manganganak kasi sis and we plan to avail the package pero medyo mahigpit sila dun, dapat payag ang OB mo na i-avail yung package ng MADOCS and dapat affiliated din sya sa hospital... I emailed them and here's their response...


Good day, ma’am! Thank you for your interest in Manila Doctors Hospital.

The MDH-Obstetrics and Gynecology Complex currently offers a Maternity Package for uncomplicated pregnancies. The breakdown of the package fees are as follows:
 
Normal Delivery (Local Anesthesia)             = Php 31,000.00 +++
Normal Delivery (Epidural Anesthesia)        = Php 37,000.00 +++
Cesarean Section                                        = Php 50,000.00 +++


The aforementioned fees already include the following:
1. Room fee at the Hospital Ward for two days (for normal deliveries) / three days (for Cesarean Section cases). The patient may opt to be transferred to a private room, however, normal charging shall commence upon room transfer.
2. Medicines excluding Antibiotics
3. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) fee
4. Newborn Screening Test (excluding Hearing Test)
5. Professional Fees of Doctors
6. Delivery fee
 
A contract shall be signed between the patient and her attending physician once the former decides to avail of the said package.

Lahat sis with NO complications, once na meron ng complication, magbase na automatic sa normal rate depende sa room yun...

Kaso baka naman maloka ako tapos complicated pregnancy pala ako. (Sana naman hindi) hehe! Paano kaya madedetermine if complicated or hindi. hhm

^ ang alam ko sis, pag may Gestational Diabetes ka, pre-eclampsia, etc, automatic na di ka na pwedeng magavail ng package. Ako kasi just in case magkaron ako ng complicated pregnancy, OB-Ward pa din yung pipiliin kong room since ang rate nila sa lahat magaadjust sa room type. Same sa MCM. ^^

Simplebeauty - naku dapat talaga iwas ako talaga sa mga sweets, family kasi na,in may lahi ng diabetes, mas magmamahal pala kapag nagkataon na may ganun. Geeee . Until now sis undecided ako kung san ba. Hehe

Iamme - sis would you know kung anong room nung qinuote sayo ni ob mo? Gusto ko talaga mag give birth sa MCM, yun nga lang medyo malayo samin talaga. Eh love ko na din yung ob ko dun. Hehe. Dapat may check up ako kanina sa kanya, and since im undecided pa nga if lipat ako ng ob or hindi, di muna kami tumuloy ni hubby. Pero eto, kanina nagtext sya, nagtatanong kung when daw ako magpapa follow up checkp sa kanya.

wala akong package na kinuha nuon sis..yung 93 total bill na..wala din akong philhealth or sss. naka private room pa ako..single bed :-)

hello mga sis.. help naman kung saan mas better na hospital. MCM or MaDocs?
im 4th month pregnant na, until now undecided pa rin kung san ako pupunta. i'd try to makati med already, pero medyo namamahalan ako. this is my 1st baby kaya gusto ko sana ok yung pag aasikaso sakin at alaga ako. suggestion naman.. thanks

Hello -  my OB is accredited to both hospitals, pero she advised me na sa MCM nalang. i gave birth sa MCM last July. and superb ang servive nila. magagaling yung mga resident OB's nila and nurses.

Hi katrinac, if you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost you at MCM? My OB quoted us 90k for NSD and 120k for CS parang sobra namang mahal kasi.

Hi po! I was looking for some reviews regarding MCM and glad that i was able to
read some reviews and suggestions here.  I am 8 weeks pregnant and my EDD is on July 2015  and as early as now I'm looking for a Hospital na money wise hindi ganun kamahal po but at the same time maganda din yung service. The reason why I am looking for some reviews for MCM is because my OB Doc Herrera is affiliated dito. Hindi ko pa naitatanung sa knya yung estimated amount that I need for Normal or kung CS. Ano po yung advantage ng MCM compared sa iba?. Can you give me some advise regarding this? Thanks so much and looking forward to all your responses. God bless!

Hi mommies! Ask ko lang kung may marefer kayong OB sa MCM? Anyone who gave birth here recently?

Malapit kasi kami dito and nagpa minor surgery na rin ako dito dati, ok naman ang services nila.

Nag iisip ako lumipat ng OB kasi ang mahal ng quote sa akin ng current OB ko.
