Blighted ovum

Hello po.. im a newbie hear.. im a bit worry kasi naka 2 tvs na ako at wala pang nakitang yolk sac ang fetal pole. 1st tvs based on my lmp im 5w4d pero [textspeak!] nakita gestational sac measuring less than 5 weeks then after 2 weeks ngpa tvs ulit ako for follow up lumaki na size ng gestational sac measuring 5w4d pero wala pa din nakita yolk sac or fetal pole.other follow up tvs ulit after 2 weeks which is on nov 3 but i will come back na lang on the 2nd week of nov. Posible po ba na blighted ovum? Please share naman po [textspeak!] story nyo sa mga na diagnose ng blighted ovum. 1st pregnancy ko po ito and i wanted this so much.. im so worried at halos iyak ako everyday. Please help po...

Hi sis! Let me share my story with you but please put in mind this is my story and yours can be different since we have different body and experiences. My first pregnancy turned out to be a blighted ovum, I conceived with the help of medication kasi I have PCOS, matagal na kami nag ttry naturally pero ayun never ako nabuntis for 3 years kaya nag decide kami mag undergo medication and fortunately enough after only 2 cycles of undergoing medication nabuntis ako so since under medication ako regular and weekly ang check up ko. At first TVS gestational sac lang din ang nakita sakin pero sabi normal lang kasi masyado pa maaga I guess that was 4 pa lang kaya pinabalik ako after a week pagbalik namin wala pa din laman [textspeak!] sac hanggang 6 weeks na siya iba na [textspeak!] growth ng sac and walang laman sa loob that's when the doctor told us na blighted ovum. All out hopes were gone para kaming namatayan ng anak sa tagal ng inantay namin 3 years of trying blighted ovum pa ang kinalabasan. But my doctor told me I did not do anything to cause that it's a chromosmal problem daw since there is a problem nadetect na ng body kaya hindi na tinuloy mag develop [textspeak!] egg. So we thank God pa din na ganon ang ngyari kesa naman buhay nga siya pero may magiging problema naman siya sa health niya or what mas mahihirapan lang siya kaya inisip na lang namin na it is God's way of saving our baby sa pain na pwede niya pagdaanan kung nabuhay siya. We never lose hope we tried again this time with a different doctor, the one who specializes talaga sa tulad ng case ko and after 2 cycles nabuntis ulit ako and this time everything is good and I'm about to give birth a week from now. Advise ko lang siguro is if it turns out to be a blighted ovum wag ka matakot maghanap ng second opinion from a differnet doctor sakin kasi nagpa second opinion ako sa ibang doctor to make sure na blighted ovum nga and ayun mas naging ok pa kasi other doctors will suggest that you undergo raspa pero [textspeak!] second doctor ko hindi niya advised ang raspa kasi pwede magscar ang uterus so ang ginawa namin is inantay namin lumabas naturally [textspeak!] sac after 2 weeks I guess lumabas naman siya ng kusa. Less gastos and no hospitalization needed unlike pag magpapa raspa magkano din ang aabutin. But go for a second opinion first to make sure na blighted ovum. Then discuss the options with the doctor I would suggest for you not to go raspa unless it is an emergency matter. Disadvantage lang ng natural masakit siya it's like you are going to have a period 10x the pain pero once it is out ok naman and tolerable naman ang pain. But for now just pray and think positive wag mo muna isipin na blighted ovum hanggang wala pa diagnosis ang doctor.

hi Khaye. I think at this point too early to worry. kase maaga pa talaga. my OB last time only recommended for a TVS at least mga 7 weeks or so ba yun. kase mahirap pa raw talaga makita kapag early stage. so just stay healthy and safe while waiting. say a prayer. think positive thoughts.
