Menstruation and Pregnancy

Sisses im just confused. I already gave birth last march 15 with a baby boy. May question lang ako. Diba kapag pregnant tayo tinatanong satin kung kelan yung first day ng last menstruation natin to know kung ilang weeks na tayong pregnant. How is it? Naging mind set ko kasi na kahit nagka menstruation ka hindi ibig sabihin hindi ka buntis? Ganon ba yon? Mejo naguluhan lang ako. Kinakabahan kasi ako baka buntis na naman ako. But im on my period at this moment.

Sis, hindi ba medyo rare yung nagkaron padin kahit buntis (kasi lagi tayo "late ako!!!")? Pero I think if ever naghihinala ka, mag pregnancy test ka. Nung super gusto ko magkababy...haha nagreresearch ako sa implantation bleeding and some of them say na light lang while some say na parang menstruation siya talaga.

Yun nga sis haha kasi before basta nagkaroon ako sasabihin ko. "ay salamat meron nako" tapos nung nagkababy nako parang naiba perception ko. Or baka mali lang pagkakaintindi ko? Haha bakit kasi sa first day ng last mens binabase yung tagal ng pregnancy?

Hehe ganyan din ako dati..nung di pa kami ready..tuwang tuwa asawa ko pag sinasabi ko "Di ka pa daddy! " nung nagtry na at nahirapan...sad na "di ka pa daddy "

Onga eh..bat nga ba? ...di ka naman talaga nakaconceive until about 2 weeks after ng 1st day ng period mo dahil dun ka palang nag ovulate at nagrelease ng egg at magmeemeet ang egg and sperm! Ginugulo lang tayo haha! Baka lang mas madali kasi mas malalaman mo naman kelan ka nagkaron kesa kelan ka nagovulate. :-D

The full term of pregnancy is 40 weeks but it takes into consideration that you would have only conceived 2 weeks after your last mens, which is why 38 weeks is considered term.

It is difficult to determine the exact date of ovulation and conception, which is why the basis for EDD is the first date of your last menstrual cycle. This is based on a regular 28-30 day cycle, it would be adjusted if you are irregular - coming off your first ultrasound where a heartbeat can be detected.

So tama pala talaga na pag nagkaroon ka it means di ka buntis. Hehe

Well depends on how much bleeding there is. My OB said 40% of women still experience monthly bleeding when their period is scehduled so they don't know they're pregnant. But of course it wouldn't be the same heavy bleeding, lighter and lasting a few days lang.
