My sister asked, if Allisah is not in school and nagtitinda lang sa banketa, bakit ang ayos ng diction nya? Incidentally, my cousin cyber-stalked her, OMG, taga St. Scho sha, at parang hindi yata sha pinayagan gamitin ang name ng school. AFAIK, hindi pwede mag showbiz sa mga school managed by nuns. So I thought, shocks, baka kaya ayaw ni Lea sa kanya, baka hindi sa pag gamit ng sob story per se (everyone used it in the show anyway), but because she knows it's a fake story. IMO lang. 

based sa audition ni Alisah sa The Voice, binawi raw ang full scholarship niya (Bachelor of Music Major in Voice)  dahil sinabi niya raw ang name ng school doon sa isang singing contest na sinalihan niya. 3rd year na raw sana siya ngayon.

There is something in alisah na hindi ko feel. Pati damit nya onstage hindi ko feel haha..sorry naman. Baka magkaiba kami ng taste sa damit.

Rence is soooo opm. Sana maitaguyod nya ang filipino music. Mukhang marami rin naman syang supporters/followers e.

Alisah: Typical biritera song. Chos! Sorry, di ko talaga feel ang song choices. (But I have to say ang songs nya eto yun kinakagat ng masa. )ANyway, it was good naman.
Jason D: I already thought of this song for him. Mas may tama pa rin sa akin yun Guy Sebastian. Hirap talaga sya magsustain ng high notes.
Leah P: My dear, is there a song you can't sing? As usual, mahina sa votes.
Rence: Sisihin si Bamboo! Ang daming magagaling sa team nya, he ended up with a mediocre. Sarry!

LAST 2:
Alisah: Nagpasiklab talaga! Todong sigaw! Ate, tama na! Sakit na tenga ko! Char!
Jason: Imo, a weak song but he tried. Awkward lang talaga yun pagbali nya ng songs.
Dream finale sana to kung si Daryl.

Kung sobrang saya ni Coach Apl nung natawag si Alisah sa Top 2, mas masaya si Coach Lea nung matalo si Alisah este manalo pala si Jason. LOL!

In fairness kay Coach Apl nasa Final 2 sya ngayon. I bet, kung si Daryl ang kalaban ni Jason malamang manalo si Daryl (Haha. Di maka get over kay Daryl.)

Team Leah talaga ako. Galing eh! Boses kung boses talaga. Napaka powerful. sayang lang kasi mahina sa text votes palagi.

Sana lang kuhanin siya sa ASAP. Malinis talaga ang boses niya.

^ Team Lea din ako kaya lang mahina talaga sa text votes. I was not anymore expecting na si Leah mananalo. Nung semi finals kasi mas mataas pa votes sa kanya ni Timmy, nagkataon lang sa mas malaki ang % na binigay sa kanya ni Coach Lea kaya sya ang nakapasok sa finals. Naisip ko that time mahina talaga sya sa votes.

Ok na ako sa winner wag lang talaga si Rence! LOL He is not deserving! ewan ko ano meron or nakita ni bamboo at sya ang lumaban sa finals. Sayang si Tanya! yung rakista sa team bamboo dati. Magaling pa naman yun.

very emotional pagkakapanalo ni Jason dy kagabi even coach sara cried. but congrats and so happy that Jason won the title. most importantly di nasayang ang boto ko.
interesting... it was the same date (march 01, 2003) when sarah won the competition "star for a night"..ang galing naman!

My general thoughts:

--> The Top 4 finalists: in fairness, lahat sila magaling in their own right. Jason Dy with a powerful balladeer-RNB-falsetto voice. Rence with the classic smooth OPM voice. Alyssa with a mega powerful voice in a 19year old. And Leah with a professionally powerful voice rin. To me, except si Rence, the three were all deserving to win kung boses lang talaga ang labanan.
--> Whoever wins from the Top 4, laging may nega na masasabi. If Rence or Alisah won, people would have shouted that The Voice is being a charitable institution again like what happened when Lyca Gairanod won. Jason Dy, masyadong makulot ang boses. Kung si Leah, biritera na naman.
--> As for Jason Dy: after Kokoi Baldo and Miro Valera left, Jason and Leah were my bets. Personally I'm happy with the results and I think that Jason deserves the title. He may not have very good song choices during the grand finals weekend (and I agree with all of you that his duet with Charice is a bit off, nilamon sya ni Charice) but if you watch all of his performances since the blind auditions, he is a very good package of a total artist: good looks, good voice, good dancing skills, and feet are on the ground.
--> And for sure, the other finalists will hopefully all have a brighter future. Sana hindi sila pakawalan ng music industry. At sana pati yung ibang mahuhusay and really incredible artists such as Tanya, Kokoi, Arnee, Miro, Kai, Bradley, Mackie, Nino, etc may also be given a chance in the industry. Panahon na for new talents, for a new kind of music, for a new set of artists, for more sensible songs.

akala ko hihinto na siya after madeclare na winner si JasonD. Hindi pa enough na nagtatatalon siya nun.

si sarah nga medyo offending nung sinabi niya na "hindi lang puro birit" kasi halatang patama sa kabila. pwede mo ibenta manok mo ng hindi nakakapintas sa iba. pero once lang naman. eh si Lea grabe.

I'm so used na sa mga contests na nagiging charity. But for me, si Alisah ang "charity case" na walang appeal sa masa.

Anyway, I'm really happy that Jason Dy won. Patunay na ang singing contest hinde lang para sa mga magagaling bumirit. A part of me still wishes na sana hinde natanggal si Daryl Ong kasi ang interesting sana nun kung Jason Dy vs Daryl Ong.

Jason Dy - loved his blind audition! Great voice quality, charming too. Among the four, he and Leah were the most deserving. May mga times lang na parang over sa kulot ginagawa nya, or out of place yung pagbali sa kanta. 

Alisah - She's really a pretty morena. Gusto ko ang dating ng mukha nya sa TV. She can sing quite well. But nothing sensational talaga. And woah, pansin ko din yun, 'mahirap' ang peg pero ganda ng diction, flawless. Paano?

Leah - Kung pareho silang malakas sa boto ni Jason, I'd say Leah deserved it more. Not because Leah was good sa 'pagbirit', but because she knew her craft. Alam nya kung kailan babaliin ang kanta, alam nya when to go soft, and she has total control of her voice. Kulang lang talaga sa 'charm', which is just as important in the long run.

Rence - His voice has such a unique quality. He felt right at home with Bayang Barrios and Joey Ayala nung finals. Agree na there were better bets sa Team Bamboo sana. Oh wells.


Medyo underwhelmed ako sa performances nilang lahat nung Finals. As in walang "yahoooo! ang galing! wow!", which is what you usually get during Finals night. Walang tumatak na performance. Except nga yung kay Charice. Hehe.

LEA, I love her comments, snarky or not. Hahaha! Nakakasawa kaya yung "Ang galing mo", "Bilib ako sayo", "That was amazing!" na mga lines. With Lea, you can expect na she would really comment on the overall quality of the performance and take note of the important details. Kung ako contestant, mas gusto ko marinig ng ganun, para alam ko how to do better the next time.

^ haha! When you hear the comments of Lea or even read her twitter, nakakaloka talaga minsan. Pero most of her comments are true and masakit talaga minsan marinig ang totoo lol
