Movie: Blue is the Warmest Color

Anyone else who has seen this French movie? I've watched it five times already and it breaks my heart every time. It's a story about two women who fell in love and drifted apart. More on the story of one of the protagonists' first love and their journey together on social differences and difference in dreams. I don't really categorize it as simply a lesbian movie because it doesn't deal with issues on being lesbians. It's more of a coming-of-age movie, identity crisis and the love and trials everyone goes through in a relationship, whether it be hetero or homo relationship.

Hello, pumpkin 13! I've seen this movie once, and honestly hindi ko rin alam kung nagustuhan ko ba or hindi yung movie. Nagandahan ako sa pagka-portray ng mga characters kasi ang natural saka realistic ng pagka-arte, magaganda rin yung mga kuha na close-up. Iyong fact na binibigyan nila tayo ng idea sa mga struggles ng isang teenage re: identity crisis is also good. Siguro bago lang kasi ako sa ganitong genre kaya hindi ko pa fully ma-appreciate. Pero totoong ang sakit sa puso noong ending. Sabi noong iba kong kakilala hindi raw nila gusto yung ending, pero for me sa tingin ko tama lang. Ang haba rin ng pelikulang 'to para sa mga maikli ang attention span kagaya ko Ayun.

Watched this one last night. I fell in love. Got angry. Got hurt. Felt forgiveness. I moved on.

I love it. The characters are well developed and very heartfelt yung mga issues nila

Hello, sisses. Yes, I have a friend who watched and slept through it. Dragging daw kasi 3 hours nga naman. Tapos wala sya background music, parang silent type of film. I love the characters especially Lea Seydoux. For a girly and demure woman, she was able to execute her character really well. Parang totoong butch sya.

^Kaiyak nga sis. Ang ganda ni Adele Exarchopoulos, girl crush forevs!

Ako naman I liked Adele's character better. Ang ganda ng pagkadevelop nung character eh. Like yung mga simpleng pagkain ng pasta, pagtulog, pagtulo ng sipon, pagtali ng buhok, as in totoong tao, yung mga details na ganun. Yeah, medyo boring for some kase close up lang lahat yung movie, walang music, walang fancy stuff, just normal day to day happenings. Very touching yung realism ng story and ng pagkarelay nung story. It reminded me of the TV series Girls, parang ganun yung dating nya saken.
