I have a boyfriend for almost 3 months. He's my first boyfriend. It's my first time to break my parents rule. I just love him so much. I'm 19, maybe its time to follow your heart, right?

Problem was:

Yung fact na I can't accept na he still have a communication with his Ex GF for 3 years. Yung isa pang lalaki sa buhay ng ex niya is actually his bestfriend. Yung una okay umiyak ako hinayaan ko... Second eto I opened his facebook.. Nakita kong nakaclose friend yun. Haha. Funny. Feel ko napaka pathetic ko... I swear to god that I really love him. Iniignore ko nalang yung ganung scenario, kasi love ko but nasasaktan ako and yet di ko maamin sa sarili ko na ginaganito ako. I can say that his ex is beyond beautiful, as in. Wala ata akong panama dun. Hehe. Pero all of a sudden boom.

Help me! Deym.

no, 19 is when you follow your parents. :D

you're young. you have better things to do with your time and putting up with a good-for-nothing bf isn't one of them. from the looks of it, he doesn't love you. chances are, he doesn't even really love anyone. you know that. so stop wasting your time and energy. you have all the time in the world after you graduate to find other jerks, other mistakes. but now, keep things light when it comes to relationships.

Oh yeah? You were without him for 19 yrs and 3 months pa lang di mo na kaya? What has he done to you? Or the better question is, what have you done to your mindset? I have to agree with sis mooncake, you are young and there's more to life than having a boyfriend. I always tell people this, that there's no one for you but someone who gets you. And believe me, if you find that person who treats you right and gets you, and is willing to make things work out with you, then that's the kind of relationship worth breaking your parents' rules. But this kind, the one that you have, I don't think it's worth it.

I am not saying a 19 yr old shouldn't have a boyfriend. What I'm saying is if you have the right relationship with the right person, you don't have to go through all these crap.

Are you even happy, like really genuinely happy? Wag na wag mong isasagot na hindi ka masaya pero dahil mahal mo sya, you'll fight for it, because that's b******t especially at your age. If you're not happy, leave and find someone or a hobby or something that makes you happy. It's that easy.

And I quote,

Stop asking yourself if he really loves you. Instead, try something different. Instead of asking how true his love is for you, just ask yourself if the love he's shown you thus far is the kind of love you want for the rest of your life. If it isn't, then stop trying to explain to him or to anyone else why he just won't do, and intead just leave him.

The only person who's stopping you from doing what you already know you should do is yourself. Follow your parents - I agree. At your age, 'neng, focus on your studies muna. A boyfriend should be a source of inspiration for you to do well, to do better but that doesn't seem like the case here.

Chaka mo na ipaglaban kung kaya mo nang tumayo sa sarili mong mga paa and most importantly, when you're certain that he's worth fighting for.

19 years old ka palang, and you have a whole life ahead of you. Huwag mo sayangin sa mga ganyang issue. And agree ako sa parents mo, 19 years old is too young to have a BF.  At 19yo, do not settle for someone yet, just meet and mingle, friends lang. This is for you to see, compare, observe.  Once you are mature enough, understand what relationships are all about, tsaka ka na magBF. Kasi by then, you will eventually find someone worthy of your attention. Pero not now, sa pagkadescribe mo ng situation, the guy is not worth your attention.

It helps me a lot.

@Beathegreat, tama sila.. Dry your tears, he's not worth them.
