Braces for kids

Hello mga sis!!! I'm newbie here. Gusto ko lang sana malaman kung ilang taon ang pinka bata na pwedeng ipa-brace? Meron akong 1 daughter, she's 8yrs old as of aug.2011.. Yung 2 teeth nya kasi sa harap sobrang "one-seat-apart" sabi nga nila.. hehe... Almost lahat ng ipin nia bulok na but meron na syang i think 6 na permanent. (including yung 2 tooth na magkahiwalay). So i was just wondering kung i-bbrace kaya yun kung di pa fully grown yung iba nyang ipin? Ayaw bunutin ng dentist nya kasi madedelay daw yung pagtubo pagtinanggal yun..

Meron po ba ditong pwedeng makasagot ng mga questions ko? Your reply will be greatly appreciated..

better wait for all permanent teeth to grow before getting her braces or consult na lang din with a dentist, kaso lang may iba kasi shempre mas iisipin yung kikitain nila. hehe. come high school siguro your kid can have braces na

^^ Hi, my daughter is 10 yrs. old and is currently undergoing Myofunctional Dental Braces at Green Apple Dental Clinic in Trinoma. She started summer of 2010 and the results are overwhelming. She only wears the "trainers" every night and at least an hour during daytime. Trainers is a dental appliance similar to a boxer's mouthpiece. No tooth extraction is needed.

I strongly recommend that you bring your kid to the same clinic for assessment. I believe this kind of treatment is highly recommended and ideal to children (girls before their menstrual period) who still has baby teeth and not all of their permanent teeth has erupted yet. The dentist mentioned that their youngest patient was 5 yrs. old so your kid is qualified for this program

We also have a problem with my niece's teeth. Yon bang sinasabi nilang bad bite. Hindi pantay ang taas at baba na teeth when she bites. Kaya maganda siguro na mapa tingin siya sa Dentist.

Hi sis, better go to a ortho functional dentist. kasi may mga dentist na nagkakabit ng braces as early as 9 years old which not a good idea at all.
