Christmas Gift Ideas for your better half

Hello sisses,

I'm not sure if there is an existing thread for this.  I really need advises, maybe because we just came back from holidays or because our new bundle of joy is coming real soon kaya hindi ako makapag isip kung anong ibibigay ko kay hubby this christmas.

Last year I gave him the Iphone 5, kaya lang he just recently switched to HTC One so out na yun. 

Any gift ideas? TIA!

Maganda ng gift watch sa better half kaso Kung hihingin sayo yun pera at sya bibili I think it's not a good idea. Sana din Medyo matagl Tagal yun relationship namin before ko sya bigyan db Hindi yun wala pang 1month he ask na agad.

i'll probably just get him perfume. pero because I am selfish, I will put off buying his gift until I am 100% sure may gift sya sa akin!

Me and my bf are very vocal kung anong Christmas gifts gusto namin ipabili sa isa't isa para pag time na ng pasko, or before Christmas, we'll buy gifts for each other. Like this year, nagcanvass kami ng gusto nyang shoes then ako naman, gusto ko ng cabinet for my new room. =) Ganun lang kami para nakikita namin gamit namin mga christmas gifts sa isa't isa =)

Get something based on his interests. If he's into music, get him a CD of his favorite artist or an iTunes card. If he's into gadgets, why not a power bank so he extend his gadget's battery life? Why not spend one-on-one time with him and go shopping together? That way you can just pay for whatever he likes hehe.

I agree with the other sisses, whatever his interests & hobbies kaya. My hubby likes shoes and watches, so I am planning to give him G-Shock metal twisted  I also suggest to just shopping online to avoid stress. Congrats sis!

nako sa dami naman kasi ng interests ni hubby, mahilig magcollect.  Dati I always buy him Jordan shoes kasi yun ang kinocollect nya, kaso recently ayaw na daw nya magcollect ng rubber shoes kasi he has so much shoes tapos yung iba naiwan nya sa pilipinas, paghindi pala sila nagagamit rumurupok, natatanggal yung swelas and to think 8k above ang isa sa kanila tapos sira na ganon ganon lang. 

Initially, I was thinking of getting him yung LV Daniel GM na bag pero last Sunday nagpunta kami ng Designer Depot. So I finally got him a gift na last Sunday.  While he was away, I went to the Armani Shop and found this gorgeous automatic watch (yun nalang ang gift ko sa kanya, discounted pa dahil sa designer depot ko nabili hehe!)  Initially I was hesitating to buy a watch kasi last anniversary namin watch din ang bigay ko sa kanya, but since he collects watches naman I think he'll like it as well. 

@sis Filipinasadhart, what? did I understand it correctly, one month palang kayo ng bf mo then he asked you na ibigay nalang sa kanya yung pera na ipambibili mo ng watch na gift mo sa kanya para sya nalang ang bibili? That doesn't sit well with me, kung tama yung pagkaintindi ko ha.

Sakin kasi the fact na gift sya, dapat surprise.  Di ko type na sinasabi sa better half ko anong gusto ko for xmas, at the same time ayaw ko din na pinapangunahan ako anong gusto nya.  I know sometimes we need to be practical. Pero nawawala yung essence ng surprise. And the other thing pa about gift giving is knowing your partner well.  Kung kilala mo sya, you would know what gift would suit him.

^agree ako sis, no matter kung sandali palang kayo or matagal na kayong magkasama dapat hindi mawawala ang element of surprise, it keeps the relationship fresh

@kreez & Girltaker2, tama po. Tanungan ng wishlist this x-mas. Sabi ko wala ako gusto kase nakuha ko na lahat ng materyal. Contento na kung meron ako. Too old for that. Sya daw watch. It's normal sa guy gusto watch. Tapos sinabi sa akin derecho na bigyan ko sya ng 4k at sya bibili. Tigas ng muhka.

and sis, sa totoo lang, minsan tama sinabi mo, if you have all the material things you want na, parang minsan di na nya kelangan ikaw bilhan ng kahit ano. though it's nice at times naman.  ang alala ko lang dati sa ex ko, pag may binili sya, laging sablay. siguro nga dahil di na nyako kilala din. pero my current bf, he give surprises kapag walang occasion.  and I don't expect him to give me gifts, ang pinaka importanteng gift nya to me is his constant love and affection, attention at faithfulness.  for me, yun ang pinaka importanteng gift ng guy sa kanyang partner. as for the material things, they come and go, nawawala, nasisira, nananakaw, nauubos.
