@sis shegie_285 I've been to Brussels and yes they di speak english but their local language there is french . The Belgian chocolates can be bought in grams or boxes and available everywhere but popular brands are Neuhaus, Godiva and Leonidas. They also have a Forever21 there. Popular tourist spot is the Manneken Pis, which is literally translated as a young boy peeing. But you will be disappointed since it's just a small statue but still it's good to check it out. I recommend you try the Affligem red beer

thanks sis^Vain_Chiq^. Naka-save na sa tripadvisor map ko ang mannekin pis. :)Same ang reviews sa tripadvisors sa sinabi mo. Pero puntahan ko na din tutal malapit naman sa Grand Place. Gusto ko sana iuwi mga artisan chocolates. I read walang preservatives so I might go with the popular ones para pasalubong

Red beer -  sounds like something my hubby would drink. maki-sip na lang  ako.

^ The red beer is more girly sis baka di nya type. LOL. The Affligem blond also tastes good. 

By the way to the sisses who's been to Florence, we are going outlet shopping but we can't decide which one (Bf only allowed me to choose one. LOL.  ). My choices are The Mall and Barberino Outlet. Which among the two you think is a better choice? I'm willing to spend a few hundred euros but not too much. Thanks in advance sa sasagot.

^ I haven't been to Barberino but my Italy-based friend said it's larger, and the selection there is more varied, me mga mid-priced brands like Nike, Diesel, etc. While The Mall is more on designer brands talaga. Sabi din nya mas malaki daw Prada in The Mall vs the one in Barberino. We only went to The Mall for outlet shopping in Italy, and I got great picks naman from Prada, Tod's and Gucci.

Oh jealous of outlet mall - I want to go there for the Prada outlet! maybe next year, actually two years pahinga muna sa bag next year.

I honestly don't have an idea about beers sis, all I know is masarap sya. Lol. We just decided to go to Barberino instead of The Mall, since it's more extensive and para magenjoy din si Bf with the shops and not only me .

^^Shegie try Pierre Marcolini's chocolates and also macarons in Brussells! Homegrown artisanal chocs din sya na may branch na sa Tokyo, though not as mainstream as Nehaus or Godiva. Nasarapan ako sa goodies from Pierre Marcolini.  Another popular tourist attraction sa Belgium is yung Atomium, though hindi sya sa city center. Yung chocolates sa Brussels, weeks lang ang itinatagal sis, but meron mga caramels and candies na mas matagal ang shelf life:-)

sis she, around the mannequin pis, may mga nagbebenta ng chocolates and some would even let you try it. i remember we bought some and brought it home sa manila and didn;t touch it for a month or two. ok pa naman

Sinave ko sa trip advisor ang atomium, we'll try na puntahan. Gusto ko din makita mini-Europe.

Urgent help please. We finally decided to push through with our Euro trip. I have not researched on Paris, because it was a last minute addition in the itinerary. Request ng MIL ko.

What area (Arrondisement?) or What hotel do you suggest we stay? We are a family of 5 (4 adults, 1 baby).

Hi delphinos, my family and I just came back from Paris. We stayed at St. James & Albany hotel spa,  just across the Tuilleries garden and the Louvre, 1st arrondisement. Room was nice, breakfast was ok and the service was good.  Hope this helps!
