Girls Beware of BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT COPYCATS!!!

I just wanna share my friend's experience.  It might help many of you out there.  She went to a salon in Paranaque and was charged P10,000 for what they called a "BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT".  She's a can-afford girl so it's not really the price but somehow she felt something was "off".  So she researched on the net and found the exclusive distributor.  She called them and was shocked to find out that the salon was not a customer of the distributor!  Therefore what they did on her was NOT Brazilian Blowout pero they charged her a Brazilian Blowout price!  The clincher was when the distributor asked her if she was allowed to wash her hair immediately.  No!...  The salon told her to wait 3 days before washing.  Eh with the original Brazilian Blowout THERE IS NO WAIT TIME!  You can wash your hair immediately dapat.  That's how you know it is the real thing.  Brazilian Blowout pala is not just a salon service name...  it's really a BRAND NAME!  So girls be careful.  Maraming salons and products calling themselves Brazilian Blowout but they are not naman.  The original is made in the USA.  Plenty China brands copycats out there so ingat!

But I think all the salons offering the Brazilian Blowout treatment asks clients not to wash their hair for a few days. But then again, wala akong masyadong alam about it

Yung brazilian blow out diba hair treatment lang sya kaya pwede na sya i-wash agad?

yes it's a brand name.. yung parang brown na copper ata yung color nung bottle nila.

^yes ang alam ko parang rebond siya. ang kaibahan lang sa rebond kasi sobrang straight ng buhok na walang volume, pero sa brazilian blowout may volume pa rin

Yun rebond, ni re restructure yun bonds ng hair shaft. Yun Brazilian keratin blow out, sinisiksikan ng keratin yun hair shaft. Kaya after i apply yun treatment, walang hugasan. Pina plansta agad para mag open yun cuticles ng hair shaft and i absorb yun keratin sa loob. Kaya ang alam ko d talaga pdeng maligo muna kasi gamot pa din yun na kailangan mag stay sa buhok ng longer period para ma absorb mabuti.

Baka yun mga Brazilian keratin blow out na sagana sa formaldehyde yun pwedeng basain agad since pine preserve ng formaldehyde yun keratin. Pero we all know d ok ang formaldehyde sa kalusugan.

Uh oh. Charge to experience na lang. I believe other salons call it Keratin Treatment but they use other brands.

Yung officemate ko ayaw maniwala na kapag original Brazillian Blowout pwede na i-wash agad after ng treatment. She was told daw kasi not to wash her hair for 3 days. Sabi ko nga niloko siya kasi wala naman body and parang sa walis yung dulo ng hair niya. We'll see daw after 3 days.

According to a friend meron daw na ire-rebond muna yung hair then iba-Brazillian Blowout after? Sabi daw kasi sa kanya irebond muna para daw numipis yung hibla ng hair tapos iba-Brazillian. Pagmakapal daw kasi ang hibla ng hair before i brazillian blowout nagiging buhaghag daw? Totoo ba yun?

sa salon kasi ngayon madami na ang mga tawag na treatments.
yung  iba magkaibang pangalan pero same lang, yung iba same ang pangalan magkaibang procedure.
Brazillian Blow Out is a brand. pero yung brazillian ng i-cure yun ang tawag nila, dahil yung brazillian blow out na treatment is originated from brazil kaya yun ang tawag nila. kung tinawagan niyo yung manufacturer sa lalagyanan at hindi nag tugma ang info baka naman nilipat lang ng lalagyanan, kasi madami nang brand ng brazillian ngayon, like CYNOS, Ahglow, T-Top Etc. sa salon din and generic name ng treatment na yan ay "Brazillian Blow Out".

officemate ko nagpabrazilian blowout sa tony and jackey. it costs her 7k upper shoulder length lang. maganda effect mabango pa hair nya. parang natural lang tapos pwede na banlawan agad. di ko lang sure kung anong gamot gamit nila.

nagpa estimate ako sa jessie mendez, kerasilk daw gamot gamit nila. lagpas balikat lang hair ko then sabi nila 5500 daw. tinanong ko kung kelan pwede banlawan after ng treatment sabi saken depende daw saken. medyo pasafe na sila sumagot infairness

mali mali hindi pala brazilian blowout. keratin treatment lang pala. hindi ba sila same?

i'm not sure about the brazilian blowout but afaik, there's this keratin treatment that initially the required number of days not to wash your hair is 3. Now, more salons, like Piandre to name one, offer the keratin treatment with no downtime meaning one can wash her hair any time after the treatment.
