Phil.Law states:  1st 50% goes to the surviving legal spouse.
                        The 50% balance - divide between children, BUT surviving legal spouse also gets the share of 1 legitimate child. 
So in this case, her mom gets 50% PLUS 25% (she says she is an ONLY child, and ZERO illegitimate kids)
She gets only 25%.
