Hi all. Ganito din ang current problem ko ngayon. Recently nagpa-cauterize ako to get rid of the warts but I wasn't informed na possible pala syang bumalik. Nakakainis kasi the doctor didn't even inform me na posibleng mag re-occur, the problem is my SO paid roughly 27k to have them removed in a private hospital somewhere here in Fairview so that means, dagdag gastos na naman.

Ang inaalala ko ngayon kasi since pregnant ako (I'm due on Halloween) and I'm trying to cut down the costs, does any know kung saan may ospital or clinic that would perform cauterization na mura? I read this article and it looks like you can have them removed for free as long as you have a "blue card" from PGH and granted you are a Philhealth member. I was diagnosed to have visible GW however m not able to see and  define yet where they are exactly located . I haven't had pap smear kasi takot pa ako.. once palang intercourse ko and ot was my first time 2 yrs ago and di na ulit naulit. Question is masasaktan ba ako sa papsmear pagginawaa ng OB?

Bf has been my bf for the longest time  for 9 years. I know and he also confirmed that he never had other partners.  So san nanggaling warts niya kung sabhin natin na sa kanya ko nahawa un. And mukhang wala rin naman siyang warts.   Any testimonials on this case?  Thanks!

^sis if I remember it right, according to my ob, pwedeng meron ang guys pero hindi nagmamanifest sa kanila. They can simply be the carrier na kung saan pwede kang mahawa. Some cases naman ng warts is because of stress combined with a weak immune system. Not necessarily kung nagkaroon ka e dahil nakuha mo ke bf. I had warts before and thankfully nakuha naman ng cream lang given by my ob. Hubby had none,so it must be from stress and low immune system combined. After treatment she advised me to take vitamin e everyday. 400 iu cap. Reason why drink this?  According to her cervix is a skin part of the body,and drinking it will help keep it healthy.

Regarding :pwedeng meron ang guys pero hindi nagmamanifest sa kanila. They can simply be the carrier na kung saan pwede kang mahawa    (yan din [textspeak!] nabasa ko).. so pwde parin pala mangyari but he doesn't have past  partner.   possible parin ba?


saken pala nasabi rin sken ng OB baka stress din nga and low immune system.. Weird lang walang binigay sken na ointment, may I know what ointment was prescribed to you?  Babalik dn ulit ako sa OB  ko to ask again, kasi nung andun kasi ako sa clinic prang di [textspeak!] nakakatakot pagkasabi sken ng doc but on my way home I got paranoid and did research.     Kasi on that same day I went to see another OB then I told her kung totoong may warts, sabi nya yes,  and she kept on saying that warts are derived from STI and no other cause.

 I really want some more opinions from other OBs baka maya may cancer na pala ako...   plus di rin pala ako sexully active so mejo nakakapraning

I'm not sure sis kung possible na meron sya even if wala siyang previous partner where siya nahawa. Might be siguro. Cauterization lang daw ba way to remove your warts according to the doctor?  Better seek another opinion. I can recommend my ob from UPM-PGH faculty medical arts building FMAB. Her name is Dra.Castro and she is specializing in oncology, treatment of cancer and such. Very accommodating.  the cream she gave kası e siya ang nagpahid sa cervix ko twice sabay na sa check up ko. Do not be scared and don't read too much online para hindi ka matakot sa kung Ano mababasa mo. Get the right info straight from your doctor kası case to case basis naman iyan.  here's the number to call if your interested to see her 7080000. It's FMAB's main line, just asked them to connect you to the ob gyne secretary.

Yes no previous partner talaga.. so baka may chance na hindi naman warts un
baka sa public toilet or towels daw sabi sken ng 1st doc na tumingin saken.

Hi. I recently underwent cauterization of genital warts. Outpatient yun sa akin, sa clinic lang ng doctor. Under local anesthesia.

I've recently had a pap smear and wala namang findings yung OB. However, I went to a "venereal diseases" clinic before that and ang sabi ng doctor doon after my physical exam was that I have genital warts.

The OB at the hospital did not see anything naman. Pero pagkakamali ko, I did not tell her that a different doctor said htat I had genital warts.

Now my question is, nadedetect nga ba ang genital warts with a pap smear? And also, can you guys recommend an OB who can treat me? Naiilang kasi ako sa doctor ko sa UST parang hindi sya open about stds and ewan ba kung pakiramdam ko lang yun. maybe if you guys recommend one since naka-deal niyo na siya before.

I-upp ko lang yung thread kasi recently na diagnosed ako with GW.  I'm trying to have a baby pa naman.  Base sa mga nabasa ko mahal ang cauterize.  Pinakita sa akin ng doctor yung GW ko sobrang dami daw noon.  I'm so afraid pero gusto kong gumaling.  Problem is paano na ang pangarap kong baby kung mag abstain?

I, too, had the same situation. 6-8 weeks pregnant ako nun when I discovered I had GW. Hindi ko talaga alam, walang symptoms. Itchy at times, pero feeling ko kasi maybe hygiene lang or stress or what-nots.
First OB I went to, sobrang high end hospital pa (The Medical City), dapat talaga i-cconfirm ko lang pregnancy ko pero nakita din nya na may GW ako and soooobrang judgmental nya and she quoted me around 15-20K to have it remove daw. She said that THE ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE is to have it cauterized. Iyak ako ng iyak nun paglabas ko ng clinic. Iniisip ko saan ko nakuha, madumi ba ako, mamatay na ba ako, etc.

Then I went sa 2nd OB ko now na forever OB ko na and alaga na ako, she said what I had is actually VERY MILD and kaya ng cream (Aldara Cream) 3x a week (not day ha) + wash ng water with Apple Cider Vinegar (preferably Bragg's) I can say that I trust this second OB better kasi ang nice niya kahit matanda na and no judgement at all.

Saan ko nakuha? I don't know. Husband is clean. Husband is faithful. And so am I. According to the 2nd OB possible daw sa pools, towels, sa mga stuff sa hotel or sa travel namin since it can be contacted skin-to-skin naman daw ngayon kasi nag eevolve na ang viruses. Frequent traveler kasi kami so sa tingin namin nakuha namin ito sa Panglao, Bohol sa hotel dun since puro foreigner ang guests nila and the bed that time smelled funny talaga.

@charmander88 sino ob mo? i have been to several OBs due to a different problem pero parang wala silang binibigay na solusyon eh. need a good OB sana.

^Hi You can try Dra. Belinda Salazar of VRP. Or you can also try my current OB, Evangeline Santiago of CSMC and Clinica Manila. 

Share ko lang din girls.  Had this problem about 2 weeks ago, at nakakadepress naman talaga. Nagstart lang sa maliit na parang pimple malapit sa vajayjay. Tapos in few days lang, mga tatlo na sila. After a week, I consulted an OB sa aventus (I won't recommend) and she confirmed na GW nga, saka mas marami na sila in clusters. Maliit lang naman, yung pinakamalaki na isa is about the size of a tip of pen? or smaller pa.  Yung iba parang butlig na malilitt, siguro about 15-20, tapos halos nasa entry na sya ng vajayjay.  Anyway, she recommended cauterization asap, 7-8k quote nya sakin all in.  Nadepress tlaga ko eh. Tapos nakita ko na tong thread na to and saw someone posted about using apple cider vinegar.  Ni-research ko mabuti yun use ng ACV sa GW and ang dami testimonials na effective nga.  So ayun, bumili ako ng ACV with the mother (Bragg's) sa mercury drug, for P209 lang.  Ang ginawa ko, 1:1 ratio, 1 part distilled water, 1 part ACV. Konti lang mga tig-1tbsp sila.  Tapos nagpahid ako ng olive oil sa area down there, for protection kasi matapang yung ACV daw eh, as much as possible spot treatment lang talaga kasi pwede ma-burn skin mo, sensitive pa naman dun.  Konting konting sting lang naramdaman ko (o mataas lang tlaga tolerance ko). Ni-soak ko yung cotton sa ACV solution then dab sa warts, siguro mga 10 mins na ganun, dab dab lang, hanggang keri. Namumuti yung mga GW after.  Bumili din ako ng castor oil, nakatulong kasi soothing pag massage mo sya after ka mag ACV don.  Mas mabilis din daw magssubside yung warts with castor oil. 

The next day, pinahinga ko muna then sumunod na araw na ko naka-ulit ng treatment.  This time, pure ACV na ni-dab ko.  Keri pa din yung sting, bearable sya for me.  Saka buti may castor oil, soothing kasi nagssubside agad yung pagssting.  Ginawa ko 2x a day yan.  On the 4th day, wala na ko makapa, grabe nakakatuwa.. sana di na bumalik   At least naka-save ako ng 7-8k pesos.  By the way, I was 11 weeks pregnant non.

^ hulog ka ng langit sis! Tinry ko kagabi yung ACV. Sobrang sakit, plano ko sana iwan overnight yung cotton na may ACV pero hanggang 1 hour lang kasi hindi ako makatulog. Nagwhite nga yung warts. Kinabukasan, niwash ko ng water pero nangati. Buti na kang may VCO at castor oil ako on hand, nawala yung itchiness pagkapahid. Dahil sayo ittry ko uli bago gumastos ng malaki. Salamat talaga! Wish me luck.

Btw, aventus din yung OB na pinuntahan ko to confim na warts nga.

Hi! Based from experience, may OB na hindi nagsasabi na may warts. Yung una kong OB told me na may warts ako pero hindi ko pinansin kasi hindi ko iyon concern that time, kasi sinilip ko wala naman akong nakita. I've been abstaining kasi for 9 years.

2nd OB, (dahil naiba na yung schedule ko, siya yung available), never told me anything. Si 2nd OB, mas matagal kong naging doctor. Ilang beses na akong nagpa papsmear sa kanya. Recently, sinabi ko sa kanya na parang may nakakapa ako. Nung chineck niya, sabi niya ay warts. Hindi ko na naitanong kung dati pa niya yon nakita. Ang nasa isip ko lang non ay pano siya mawawala.

Anyway, 15k daw cauterization sa kanya, so advice niya try ko PGH baka makamura. After that, pavaccine daw ako ng anti cervical cancer.

Then I found online nga about ACV.

Ang intindi ko lang, pap smear can detect abnormal cells na related sa cancer. Yung warts, pwedeng makita ni doc habang ippap smear ka. Also, yung HPV na na nagccause ng warts ay different sa nagccause ng cervical cancer daw

^^ Actually sis, ganyan din naging case ko before.. I went to "venereal disease" clinic na maliit lang sa medical city ortigas and they told me I had genital warts. They only did a swab test sakin and yun na sinabi nila.

Hindi ako convinced kaya I went to an OB in st.luke's who specializes in Infectious Diseases.. She did a physical exam and found some na baka daw genital warts pero hindi sya sure because they didn't really look like genital warts, so she had them biopsied and checked by the lab. Negative naman yung result.

Feeling ko yung clinic na pinuntahan ko e medyo sketchy... Baka lahat ng nagpupunta dun e sinasabi nilang positive. Tingin ko lang naman yun..
