Hi girls! Heres my rundown!
Day 1
9 am
I arrive sa airport, got stuck at the immigration since i was travelling alone!
They asked me so many question and the guy looked so annoyed that i was travelling alone.
After passing the annoying immigration agent got my bag bought a sim card for 98 hkd asked the nice guy to put me on data charges.
Beats having to search for wifi and ask questions when getting lost, since i am having a hard time understanding their english .
I change my usd to hkd for 7.26 which is a lost of 0.50hkd
It was very hot day and i was standing for 30 mins or more during the bus ride. I didn't anticipate the weather since i was expecting it to be a bit colder, hence my migraine kicked in.
I arrive at 12 noon at golden crown, i simply left my luggage and walked around and looked for food. I arrive at lunch time so its a huge battle for food on the local streets long lines can be seen. Mcdonalds was a huge relief.
Went back at 2 pm and took a nap, since i was so tired and i dont want go and visit spots so opted to visit temple street at mongkok, the best deal breakers especially for electronics, better than buying from nathan road. Its not highly recommended to buy near golden crown.
Day II
Left 8 am train ride to ngong ping. 45 ,minute train ride.
What to expect:
Long lines (30 minutes of waiting for a cable car ride from opening of gates with exchange of vouchers)
Bring jacket, wear rubber shoes.
30 hkd entrance at the relic (free water and ice cream after)
118 hkd deluxe meal at the resto, vegetarian, if you love mushrooms, it will be a good meal for you, they also have snacks i think 30 hkd?
Temples and flowers around the area.
The place is very windy, with a good view of he city.
Look for packages that will suite your needs visit the village monastery etc.
Note: its a one day event, otherwise its so tiring.
3pm temp drop to 18 degrees Celsius
Disneyland
Its a nice place for kids... And kids at heart, other than that dont expect more.
Stay until 8 pm and be sure to pick a spot at the Center fronting the castle, a huge fireworks display, the kids will really have a great time! Park closes after that!
Meal that night along the inner streets of tsim sham tsui cost me 50 hkd for a bowl of noodles good for 2 and lemon tea, which wasn't that appealing.
Day 3
Packed and shopping mode, sad to say malls open around 10-11 am so, there isn't much to go around.
1 pm i was off to the ferry and was heading for macau, fare is 150 hkd, u can bring in your luggage inside so you dont have to pay 20 hkd for 10 kgs which i did and had a 40hkd bill, broke my budget sniff sniff!
I didnt go much around since it was so tiring, and very expensive to stay longer . hopelly i will comeback hopefully soon.
