THINSPO/ FITSPO
« on: July 26, 2015, 10:34:42 am »
Have you seen the posts lately ng mga ladies with model like body showing that its not about weight but about the percent of fat and muscle.

when we have more fat, well we look bloated
when we have enough muscle and less fat, we'll look sexier kahit na sabihin pa na wala nagbago sa weight or minsan mas mabigat pa.

I am around 20-25% fat. Ganito na talaga body ko. But after taking OCP and stopped, puro weight gain with fats na ako. huhu. Always dreamt of having 18% body fat and those perky buns and thigh gaps.

Any suggestion ano workout routine maganda to achieve:

1. Bigger butt without getting huge calves
2. Slimmer legs, thigh gap
3. Toned arms without bulky muscles

if you know anything. na true before and afters..pa share naman po. thanks

Thinspo/fitspo? Pro-anorexic lifestyle.

Don't become obsessed. Brother in law ko nurse in a mental health hospital in Sydney and they have many anorexic patients. Sabi niya nga nakakalungkot pag nakikita niya lalo na mga relatives nila na nagka-depression as a result of seeing them suffer.

Pilates instructor ko has that kind of body but she does crossfit and pilates 3 times a day. Last year 3 times na siya na-hospital due to dehydration, muscle and kidney failure.

They will look good in instagram, facebook etc siyempre may photoshop and makeup, add to that plastic surgery. In person they don't look good at all. Puro buto lang and their faces look gaunt, like my pilates instructor and my two co-workers. Dinadaan na lang sa make-up.

Get inspiration from Cassy Ho of Blogilates, she has a good fit body. Iyon nga lang some of her followers have taken it to extreme.

Oh thanks sis.Yup I've seen those pictures na more like mga PRO ANA  and I am not really after that extreme change. Kasi hindi naman yun type ng thinspo that I am referring to... more like before and after ni ellen adarna last year or Ms. USA pageant winner. if you google "thinspo before and after" ...the first few pictures where from "fatty" they become more "muscular" transformation is what I am after. That's why I mentioned body fat percentage vs muscle mass. Kasi I want to have that type of body= less fat, more muscle BUT NOT BULKY OR MUSCULAR.

The one's you mentioned (which I'm pretty sure never ko maachieve and will never attempt to) are more SKINNY nalang, hindi toned and tama ka sis, its not healthy. So, again, its not what I am looking for, besides..I can't give up eating, so I'm after the workout program lang hehe

I follow blogilates pero nakukulangan ako kasi I followed her routine for 2 months and no changes eh.I wanted to do more butt lifting/ shaping exercises without bulking legs and calves. That's why I mentioned thinspo or fitspo because most of the healthy one's have lifted butts pero hindi muscular ang legs at calves. And also hindi din muscular upper body nila but toned. So there. I hope some can share routines that works for them. Thanks again :)

PS
And tama ka sis, ayoko nung extreme na magka Gunt look sa face kasi nakakatanda yun lubog ang pisngi sa sobrang payat.

That's good to know. :-)

siguro mas maganda kung sa personal trainer ka na lang. Pag sa youtube din kasi wala rin kasi magsasabi sa iyo ng proper form.

Co-workers ko I mentioned earlier noong una sa personal trainer sila for 2 months. Once they learned the proper form, on their own na sila sa gym every morning. One only lifts weights, iyong isa naman weights and pilates. Cardio nila is walking. Those two walang off days with exercising, para na ngang sila si Madonna. Puro salad, tuna, chicken breast and protein shake kinakain nila.

Fitnessblender is okay too pati Focus T25 and Jillian Michaels.
