^^ agree, hindi naman ibig sabihin kapag kasal eh mag-aanak na right after.

you could help out your bf with his family business if you are willing enough and you're not supporting anybody from your own family. it really depends on your level of patience and your priorities.

Naku kung ganyan na katanda at wala pang balak para sa aming dalawa, e i'd better look for someone else na lang. ::)

I suggest be honest sa isa't isa kung ano talaga ang gusto nyo for each other, and for your relationship. Kasi I was in a long relationship na ako yung parating tinatanong kung saan ba daw papunta yung relationship at ang parati kong excuse was that hindi pa ako ready. And mind you, I had the money, I had the career, I've accomplished most of the things that I set out to do for myself, but I felt deep inside me na yung ex ko hindi pa nya nagagawa ang mga plans nya sa buhay, at wala pa syang na-accomplish dun sa mga bagay na sa tingin ko importante sa akin at sa future naman. Looking back, I already knew that they were just excuses because I knew that he wasn't quite the man that I wanted to marry and one day I just realized that he will never be that man - no matter how hard he tried.

Now with my husband, we were dating only for two years before it became serious (wedding plans and all). When he started to talk about getting married, I had no hesitation at all, no fears, no apprehensions. I saw in him the qualities that I was looking for talaga, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, lahat lahat na. In fact, to me, our status wasn't important anymore. If I found out he didn't want to get married (he wanted to get married) I was ok and at peace with it. As long as I had a life with him, that's all that mattered, not the form but definitely the substance.

^ I agree. Malalaman mo talaga kung sya yung person, no doubts, kahit hindi pa super-plantsado lahat.

If the person doesn't see you is the right person for him or her, s/he will ALWAYS have excuses.

Basta, talk about it, his fears etc. Baka naman ikaw talaga yung 'the one' nya, madami lang syang anxiety for some other things.

One break-up line said, "Break na tayo, because I cannot be a girlfriend forever."

Just make sure he has a plan to be married to "you," if he has naman, then better wait na lang if that's okay with you. If nasesense mong wala, eh wag mo nang sayangin ang panahon mo.

For guys, its possible talaga na 30s na minsan hindi pa ready kasi they are the would be breadwinners of the family kaya kailangan talaga stable na sila. That's what I see from my guy na wala pang kaplano2. Frustrating, I know. Pero if you really love him that much you'll understand. BUT... sabi nila if your relationship is on it 7th year or so and wala pa balak to get married, you better find a new guy.

Actually people, everything's fine.  What we did was open a business together.  He invested, I invested.  Thankfully, it is doing well naman.

His parents are supportive.  Since we have proven our knack for business, FH was gifted with a townhouse.

Hehe Long story sis why the dad gave him a place.  At 30, he really was not ready, but thankful talaga ako that our business worked so ready na siya in a way.

We reserved 2 wedding dates na, depende nalang talaga sa time.

When I wrote this, bago bago palang din kami.  Wala pa kaming 2 years.  Pero alam mo naman tayong mga girls, kung ano ano iniisip natin sa future.  Wala pa man naisip na natin.  I was really frustrated at that time.

Initially, we were offered to stay in one of the properties they own.  The other one is in a dorm they have na condo-type, OMG naman.  Pag labas mo sa unit, neighbors mo mga kiddos, and no elevator. Haha yun lang.

Knee knee
I guess we can't expect everyone to achieve something at a certain age. We figured it out together, and things fell into place.

Agree with you sis @Nicoletta. Iba2 ang tao. In the end ang mahalaga is naging masaya ka and yung feeling ng fulfillment. :)
