WHAT TO DO WITH COUSIN DRUG ADDICTION???

I have a cousin na lulong sa drugs, i wante to help him pero di ko alam kung paano or saan mag uumpisa? Do i need to put him in a center, saang center meron sa Sampaloc, and how much ang gagastusin ko? What if ayaw n'ya? Pano ko siya matutulongan???

Drug addiction requires a comprehensive solution  -- legal, logistical, financial,   psychological and spiritual.
The right place to start, is to inquire with a drug rehab center.  They will clarify the legalities with you.

Did his spouse/family ask for your help?
Did he?
IF your answer to both  is "no" --     then, your unsolicited help may even anger them, be interpreted as meddling in what is none of your business/concern. 
Sometimes, good intentions are not enough.

What  I have noticed is that drug rehab is never voluntary -- the addict and the family are forced into it when things get too much out  of hand...

thanks sis, i ask the family & they agreed but since they are in the province they want me to help my cousin financially & emotionally.

That's a family cop-out.  Dapat dalhin nila anak nila doon sa province, at doon nila ipa re-hab.

You can start inquiring around, and finding out the costs, time involved, etc etc of rehab.   I am sure you will all see the family has to come across with time and effort.  I am sorry, wala akong first hand info to share... what I know nakuha ko lang sa pag panood ng movies like that one with Cogie Domingo where his parents are separated. 

you are a cousin only.  i think you will not have enough love and time to see a certified addict through rehab.   IMO, it is an entire family that needs to be involved in the rehab.
