sis...not so long ago I was that age....I have an 11 year old stepdaughter na now...My suggestion is just respect the 15 year old boy for texting you. Talk to him and your daughter and lay ground rules. But, show them you are there to guide them and not to police them. this way, you will be a "kakampi" instead of them hiding and lying to you.

i have a 15 y/0 daughter.  modesty aside my daughter is pretty kahawig nya si Kim Chiu.  nagsisimula na sya paligiran ng guys. nalaman ko lang nung naiwan nya fb nya at nag snoop ako sa personal messages nya. na shocked ako kasi 3 guys yung nagpapcute sa kanya nag hi and all kamusta ka na? pero may isa na parang ka close nya na. i got confused talaga pero naisip  ko din i have to be careful in handling this. realization ko now na hindi na sya inag nag. kasi minsan nagpupuyat sa computer napapagalitan ko kaya kausapin ko na lang ng maigi. nabasa ko pa sa pm's nila ng mga friends nya na mag hang-out sila in a classmates house. pero may daughter hindi nakakasama. lagi nya sinasabi ill try . kasi alam nya na hindi ko sya papayagan sa mga ganung hang-out lang sa house ng mga classmates nya. naawa din naman ako na feeling ko  left out sya kapag ganun tapos lahat nung friends nya pupunta. feeling OMG talaga ako ngayon. i don't tell my husband nasa abroad sya and i don't now if i should tell him o ako na lang mag handle ng issue para din maging comfortable ang daughter ko sa akin. ganyan din sabi ko nuon i'd die kapag dumating na ang stage na ito pero kapag andito ka na pala you have to think it through and find a way to handle it best. i have four girls at isa pa lang ito. waaa i have 3 more to go. so help me God  :( :'( :-\

Just be open lang with your daughter, sis. If ever man that she decides she likes the guy back, guide her accordingly. 'Pag pinigilan 'yan, magtatanim lang ng sama ng loob sa'yo at saka may chance din na hindi susunod (I know because most of my friends ganito ginawa, kunwari walang boyfriends pero meron).

I had my first boyfriend at 11. My mom was cool with it, 'di ako pinagbawalan, to think I'm an only child. I had a couple of boyfriends in high school din and my mom was supportive, always insisting to meet each of them, saka mas gusto niya na sa bahay kami maghang out and all kesa sa labas. She wasn't strict, but she had constant reminders about "boundaries" that I had to set since ako 'yung babae. I didn't mind. I finished college without a boyfriend, nagsawa rin ako agad hahaha.

I think gagayahin ko parenting style ng mom ko when I have my own kids na. :) Hindi naman por que nakikipag-bf/gf na mga anak natin eh mag-aasawa na. They're young, let them be. Kilig-kilig din naman tayo when we were at their ages haha proper guidance lang talaga. Mas okay nang honest kesa nagsisinungaling 'di ba?

if i had a daughter how i wish hindi muna sya paligiran ng guys till she's 20. hehe. pero kasi iba na talaga panahon ngayon. not to alarm TS, nakakatakot din yung mga ganito kasi what if mabuntis. true love kuno pero if something like that happens i don't know what i would do. during my hs days, having a bf in school was a very big deal kasi konti lang silang meron. the rest, like me, crush-crush lang. how i wish ganun pa rin pag may anak na ko. i want to hear from moms how they handled situations like this.
