First time ko mabuntis. 8 weeks and 2 days. I?m thankful nakita ko tong thread na to. Ok nman ang first check up. 😊  Sa ngayon medyp nahihirapan ako kase lagi akong nasusuka. With matching acid reflux pa. Every night sumasakit tyan ko maslalo na pag kumukulo. Antok n antok ako pero need kong lagyan ng laman ang tyan ko. Iniisip ko nlng matatapos to pagdating ng 2nd trimester. Any tips para maiwasan to?

Hi! im currently 16w4d. since nalaman kong buntis ako ng 5w eh naka duphaston na ako, first dahil may subchorionic hemorrhage (wala n ngaun) then may contractions kasi. i gave birth to twins pala 2019 kaso 26w lang sila kaya hindi nila kinaya.
ask ko lang baka may mga naka experience na before o ngayon ng premature contractions? ano ano mga ginawa nyo? pls advise and share your experience. sobrang nagwoworry at takot talaga ako.
more on nakahiga lang ako dahil na rin nawalan ako ng work due to pandemic, nakaka around 4liters of water rin ako then duphaston at minsan at heragest vaginal supp pa.

^^Hi sis! Wow, good news yan. Ang galing, nakakatuwa naman si baby, nakita agad gender kahit 14 weeks palang. Sa Saturday ang next check up ko sis, pero hindi muna ako nirequire magpa ultrasound ni OB, next month nalang daw para malaman yung gender. Thanks sis, research nalang din ako re skincare. Ingat sis!

Thank God talaga, sis. Basta sundin lang din talaga instructions ng OB. How's your check-up, sis? Sana no complication sayo this time, sis.

Naranasan nyo na ba magka stretch marks? Ilang weeks kayo nung unang mag appear stretch marks?

^Hi sis! Oo nga, tama.. follow lang sa instructions ng OB. Ok naman check-up ko sis, sinukat yung tyan ko saka pinakinggan lang heartbeat ni baby. Kaso yung wrist ko madalas sumakit, mabilis din mamitig, yung parang kinukuryente. Laki rin ng weight gain ko since last month, naka 4kg agad ako, dapat 2kg lang huhu.

Re stretch marks, parang napansin ko sya sa 1st pregnancy ko around 7 months ko sis. Ang laki ng itinaba ko tapos parang 4 or 5 months palang ako manas na mga kamay at paa ko. Buti nga this time hindi ganon, kaya nag iingat talaga ako. Mahirap na, 37 na rin kasi ako..

Hello mommies! Sino na nakapagpa CAS sa inyo? Mga how much kaya? OB told me to expect higher fees but didn't give me the exact price. Bukas na dapat CAS ko kaso nimove ni OB to Friday. Sana ok ang lahat. 🙏

Hello Mommies!
I am already a mommy of 3 😊 and it is such a blessing to have this 4th bundle of joy inside my tummy. At first medyo hindi pa nag sink in sa akin kasi bata pa ang sinundan nito. Wala pang 2 years old. 18 months pa lang tapos breastfeeding pa rin kami hanggang ngayon. I am currently in my 26th week. CAS ko next week. Excited ako and worried at the same time.

Ang problem ko ngayon is yung OGTT ko.. pasado naman ako sa 1st and 2nd hour, pero yung FBS sabi lagpas daw sa normal yung result ko which is 95, na dapat 92 lang daw per my OB. Nirefer ako sa endocrinologist, pero hindi pa ako nakapunta kasi ang hirap isingit sa sched.

Planning to buy baby's things this month. Dami pa damit eldest ko, kaya yung for newborn nalang siguro muna ang bibilhin ko. Ang bilis din kasi lumaki ng baby, konti lang bilhin ko para hindi masayang.

Kamusta kayo mga sis? Ano ano mga nararamdaman nyo ngayon? Lately dumadalas yung pagsakit ng lower abdomen ko, yung bandang ovary. Pansin ko kapag may mali akong pwesto eh kasi nawawala rin sya after few seconds. Nakaka bother lang din kasi medyo nabibigatan na ako, mas gusto ko nakaupo kaysa nakahiga.

Going 33 weeks na ako on Friday. Grabe ang hirap hirap ng bumangon sa kama, nasakit lagi yung balakang ko saka may masakit in between my legs, siguro kasi sumisiksik na si baby. Last check up ko, sabi ni OB cephalic na position ni baby pero January pa nya ako next ipapa-ultrasound. May masakit din sa lower right abdomen ko, sana round ligament pain lang, kasi nawawala rin naman after few minutes.

Gusto ko ng manganak, nakakapagod din hehe. Pero kailangan magtiis para ok na ok si baby paglabas.

My wife recently gave birth in Makati Medical Center. Overall experience was great for us, and especially for my wife.

We are first time parents and felt anxious with the whole covid-19 situation prior to the birth of our baby. But the doctors and nurses in MMC were very professional and reassured us of our baby's health and safety during our stay.

My wife gave birth 1 week before her estimated due date from all previous ultrasounds. Before admission, both parents are required to have a negative swab test result if you want to be admitted in the non-covid ward of MMC. For reference, in MMC, a pregnant woman's negative result is valid for 2 weeks, while a father's is valid for only 7 days. Good thing MMC was able to release my swab test result within 9 hours! This allowed me to accompany my wife when she had her contractions earlier than expected. My swab test cost Php 5,000.00 while my wife's swab test cost Php 1,591.00 (with PhilHealth discount). Both tests were done in MMC.

MMC's current policy is that the father/1 companion are only allowed in the delivery room during the pushing part of the birth. During labor, only the pregnant woman is allowed in the labor room. This was a big change since a few months ago, the policy was no outsiders even in the delivery room.

After I cut our baby's cord, and a few pictures with my family, I was ushered out of the delivery room. After around 2.5 hours after giving birth (where my wife and baby rested), my wife and baby were brought to our room. My wife wore a face mask, but not a face shield during labor/delivery. I wore a face mask and face shield.

For MMC births, our OB-Gyn recommended to get a room on the 5th floor (Maternity Floor). Since this is the maternity area, the nurses on this floor are all knowledgable on after-birth care of the newborn and the mother. We did, and we were happy with how the different nurses were able to assist us and answer our questions. They even gave us tips on how we can take care of our baby properly.
