My kasambahay has this weird food combination which I haven't tried yet.  Pero she swears its super masarap.  Sinasawsaw nya sa suka na may sili ang kamatis. Also, she puts Mang Tomas spicy on chicken adobo.

My niece, who has tried it, says yummy naman.

Ang weird nung kamatis sawsaw sa vinegar. Acid on acid.

Pero mang tomas, keri yan. Liver kasi yun. E nilalagyan naman ng liver ang adobo. ☺

A friend recommended this if you want to start a vitamin-packed cleanse.

1-2 ripe saba bananas, uncooked
1 cup fresh pechay leaves
cold water
1 pinch cinnamon

Blend. Add water if it's too thick. Drink immediately.

At first I was skeptical but the pechay didn't overpower the saba's delicate sweet flavor. The cinnamon made it smell sweeter without added sugar. It's also cheaper than regular latundan or lacatan bananas, but with the same nutrients. I lost 5 pounds in 5 days just drinking this for breakfast with only 30 minutes of daily moderate cardio.

sis, need pa ba ilagay yung seasoning ng pancit canton? hindi kaya maalat?
spicy pancit canton with corned beef

cook lang yung pancit canton then wag na idrain then on a separate pan igisa yung corned beef. tapos ihalo na sa cooked pancit canton.  ;D

Sis wag na idrain? you mean may water pa sya parang sabaw then saka ilagay ang corned beef?

Naku, mahilig ako sa mga weird recipes kasi when I cook, kung ano ano hinahalo ko..imbento lang.. yung ibang posts dito ginagawa ko talaga..I'm a bit experimental kasi in the kitchen...

off the top my head, try nyo sis, lumpiang tuna. super easy.
A can of tuna, drain the oil/water. Make sure its dry then wrap it in lumpia wrapper.
Fry.
Pinapapak ko to.

corn as coffee

Eto yung recipe na turo sa akin ng mom ko na namana rin nya sa lola ko. Sabi kasi medicine daw to. But not sure for what.

Corn (yung version na parang rice, hindi yung whole corn kernel)

Cook it in a frying pan without any oil until it turns black in low heat. Make sure na nahahalo mabuti para even ang pagkakaluto and hindi sunog ang ibang part. Others prefer it brown for brown coffee, but we prefer it black.

Ginagawa naming tong coffee - just pour hot water and drain. Parang tea.
