Me ginagawa yun technician namin meron siya tinatanggal na add and remove programs peri nakakayakot kasi sabi niya kapag me nabura ako na di dapat lahat

Bumabagal ang computer if you use up so much of your RAM.  When you have so many programs running in the background, that uses up a lot of RAM.

If you have a lot of programs that automatically run when you open your computer, babagal ang booting time niyan.  So make sure you reduce those types of programs na nagoopen sa start up pa lang.

Maraming reasons sis, assuming Windows ang OS mo. I use three utilities: CCleaner, Advanced System Care at Malwarebytes Anti-malware

1) Upgraded na ang mga programs mo. Napag-iwanan ang hardware mo. => Start saving for a newer laptop with higher specs.

2) Masyadong maliit ang hard disk space. => Use "CCleaner"

3) May mga bad sectors ka na sa hard disk kaya nahihirapang magbasa. => Sa Advanced SystemCare din, use the "disk doctor" utility

4) Masyadong maraming programs at services na tumatakbo/resident sa memory ng computer mo. => uninstall programs na hindi ginagamit

5) Baka na may corrupted driver ka at corrupted startup program. => download ka ng fresh and updated copy ng program via the driver's website; it's okay kung may CD ka pa ng drivers but the ones na provided sa internet are improved versions na.

6) Maraming naiiwang mga "basura" sa registry at sa hard disk yung mga nauninstall na programs. => use "registry cleaner", or do a clean reformat na lang.

7) Fragmented ang mga files. => use "smart defrag" (kasama din sa Advanced System Care) instead of the built-in windows defrag.

8 ) Marami kang fonts na nakainstall. => punta ka sa fonts folder sa control panel and remove unused fonts.

9) Ang dami mong programs sa startup. Worse is, yung iba sa mga programs nito ay nagko-connect pa sa internet tulad ng YM at Skype => use "startup manager" sa Advanced SystemCare

10) Kung hindi naman virus ang dumale sa iyo, malware naman. => use "Malwarebytes Anti-malware"

And yes, disk cleaning and disk defragmenting really works! I recommend doing PC maintenance once a week para parating mabilis.

Still, don't ignore yung mga sinasabi na virus ang problema. IT IS usually the case. Many times naka-encounter na ako ng viruses that natanggal din; so many owners would think na sigurado silang walang virus but in fact, marami silang nasirang mga programs kaya bumagal ang PC. I'm afraid clean reformat has to be done.

I don't also buy antivirus, at mas lalo na I don't use pirated na antivirus (malamang may virus sa loob ng antivirus na yan)

Talaga avg is enough? Do you do downloads ba? Or are you using mac? Mac daw kasi no need for antivirus. Withbme kasi di ko talga mapigilan magdownload

^ I hear a few viruses made na rin for Macs. Pero mas marami pa ring viruses sa Windows. Still a mac could put you on the safe side... so if you can afford it then go for it.

I do downloads - torrents pa, hehe. Just downloaded a bunch during the weekend.

Oo enough ang AVG sa akin. I didn't pay for an upgrade. Yung free edition lang nila ang gamit ko. Just make sure that at least, your built-in Windows firewall is turned ON, or use COMODO firewall instead of the Windows firewall.

There could be a lot of reasons but if you want a sure solution to a slow laptop then consider reformatting your OS. Sure yan bibilis unless hardware na ang may problem.

Sometimes pag nagbooboot marami masyado programs ang nagrurun when you start your computer may way of disabling them and not deleting, emptying the history and where static images get saved helps din.  Meron din sa settings na dapat same yung speed  wth how its running naku di ko maexplain i think it has something to do with the memory of how much it can load may percent na dapat same to maximize yung speed. Sira my dell so i cant place what that is maybe you can googlr how to maximize on speed and memory.

ways to speed up your pc
- have an updated anti-virus
- clear temporary internet files
- clear the desktop from having so many files, move then inside your "My Documents" or somewhere else but not desktop
- back-up or move old files from PC to an external storage pag napupuno ang harddisk bumabagal lalo
- try reading yung mga nag pa pop up sa internet before clicking ok, baka spyware or third party apps trying to install itself
- use defrag at least once a year! lol
- use google chrome (much safer and faster)
- remove unnecessary widgets
- to further speed up your computer, reduce the graphics of your pc (if you right click my computer. select properties. may lalabas na dialog box, select the advance system settings then click settings button in Performance window. select radio button adjust for best performance. click apply then ok.)
- paki vacuum ang loob ng pc if it's in a casing

Check for any viruses or spyware/malware at least once every week;
Defragment your computer regularly;
Uninstall unnecessary programs;
Transfer files you don't need to an external hard drive or burn the files onto a CD or DVD.

THis is also my problem with our laptop. Sobrang bagal niya talaga. I use CC Cleaner pero mukhang hindi naman virus ang problem. I already uninstalled some programs pero mabagal parin. Feeling ko madami na kasing laman yung disk space namin kaya ganun. We are planning to buy a desktop na lang .

Try all suggestions here, pati yung sinabi ni 17arci na defrag.

Last resort would be a reformat. Be sure to back up everything important.

Over time, talagang bumabagal ang computer - usually due to installing and removing programs. And yeah, even removing programs still leaves some residue settings and files behind which could slow down your computer.

Even if you buy a new desktop, babagal rin yan over time...
