He claims that this significantly improves productivity," Sloane writes in his article. Kaufman is the author of the book The Personal MBA: Master the Art of Business.
This is a great tip to remember, especially if you have a lot of work to do for the day. Meetings take time and prevent you from doing other things on your agenda. With your main tasks of the day finished and out of the way, you can be more focused during meeting time. This will enable you to contribute more significantly to the discussion because you won't be worrying about the additional work you'll have to do afterward.
