For the past ten years, 29-year-old Angely Dub has been traveling around the world for a living. At 19, she started her own travel agency, Access Travel, and she has been to at least 100 countries, exploring various destinations so she can truly know what to recommend to her clients. Sounds like a dream, right? But like many other players in the travel industry, Angely had to put her business on hold due to the pandemic—the circumstances didn’t stop her from doing something meaningful, though.

“I used this opportunity to create a new business, which is Bulilit Kitchen,” Angely shares in an interview with Summit Media. From selling destinations, the businesswoman is now selling street foods like isaw and betamax and other Filipino comfort treats online. Through Bulilit Kitchen, she's able to provide jobs for tricycle drivers and housewives in her hometown, Cavite, who are looking for ways to earn during the crisis.
