You can never really prepare enough for an interview. A week before your appointment, you should plan what you're going to wear, learn how to get to the office by heart, and most importantly, you must practice answering possible questions that might come up during the interview.

Lucky for all of us, most interviewers use standardized questions. Your interviewers are most likely looking for indicators of your expertise and competence, motivation, interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams, and how your personality fits with the company culture; so their questions (and your answers) should revolve around those points. Try out some of the questions below, and gauge how well you can express yourself.

Why did you attend __________ university?
What are your career goals?
Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Why didn’t you get a higher grade-point average?

What is the most recent skill you have learned?

What types of extracurricular activities did you participate in during college?
What leadership position did you hold in college?
How did you deal with difficult people in your team?

Tell me about yourself.
How does your degree prepare you for working as a __________?
What are the current trends in our industry?
