To find an alternative source of income, these two close friends decided to team up and launch a food business called Forksilog. They offer a classic Pinoy comfort food: Tapsilog (tapa, sinangag, and itlog) meals!
Aside from packed meals, they also offer a bilao of silog, which costs around P399 to P499.Â
The two started selling their tapsilog meals in Erika's condo. Now, Forksilog is available on a food delivery app!Â
In a video interview with Summit Media, Kristine and Erika shared that they aren't earning as much as they used to, but what's important is they were able to get through these trying times. "Sa panahon ngayon kasi 'di ka na puwede umarte. Hindi mo na kailangan isipin na ganito lang kikitain natin, dati ganito. May family na umaasa sa'yo e, so kailangan mo talagang mag-pursige."
