In 2008, BBC featured a highly unique office located in Zurich, Switzerland. It was designed for—and partly by—engineers, and it boasted of a fireman’s pole between floors that allows easy access, meeting “pods” that resemble igloos and Swiss chalets, and, perhaps as homage to the company’s humble roots, bean bag meeting rooms.
Now, this wacky office wasn’t the first of its kind to be built. It certainly wasn't the last to catch the world's attention either. Google, if haven’t already guessed, went on to build newer and crazier offices all over the world. Other large companies followed suit. Check out the gallery to see some of them:
