Being cheated on can be one of the most painful things you can experience when you’re in a relationship. If it happens to you, will you take your guy back? Here, our GIRLTalkers answer the burning question and share what they did after getting cheated on.

I did pero tama nga na it will never be the same. The only explanation I can get out of it was, at the time you find out that your man is cheating on you, pride and denial will kick in. Gugustohin mo ikaw ang piliin, at the same time, you will feel betrayed and shocked and hindi na makakapaniwala na it can happen to you or that your man is capable of doing that to you.

Of course, ma-feel mo na something is missing since you spent some time with the person. – from GIRLTalker books_mags

NO! Naniniwala ako sa kasabihan na "Once a cheater, always a cheater." Cheaters can't be changed. – from GIRLTalker frankikay

I did and it has been one of my greatest regrets. Don't ever take a cheater back. What can be done once, can be done twice or twice and even they know better how to hide it. – from GIRLTalker lavariel

I will never go back to any man who [cheats] on me for whatever reason, he did that once, he has the power to do it again. If there is something a cheater deserves, it's not to be taken back, but a nice payback – from GIRLTalker anir

I did, because I believe people make mistakes and have the ability to learn from them. I also loved the guy. But he did it again and it became clear to me that this was not a one-time thing, but a recurring habit that he could not shake off. So, I walked away and never looked back. We were engaged to be married within a few months, btw.

I have no regrets, though. At least I know I gave the relationship my all. Next time, I'll know better and choose a better, stronger man. – from GIRLTalker chocolatefever

No. He doesn't care enough about your relationship that he cheated on you in the first place, so why would you take him back? – from GIRLTalker bergal

For this kind of issue, it is really easy to forgive, especially if mahal mo yun tao. But you can never ever forget the pain. Happened to me with an ex BF, and I never took him back. – from GIRLTalker asia
