Flirting with other people when you're in a relationship is decidedly not okay, but what about flirting online? Would your slightly naughty comment on someone’s Instagram post or that pa-cute emoji you left on Messenger be considered cheating?

According to 82 percent of 1,000 18- to 34-year-olds who answered a survey by Fusion, the answer is yes. Online flirting IS crossing the line. While the poll doesn’t specifically state what kind of behavior falls under online flirting, it’s clear that many millennials won’t stand for it. To be on the safe side, keep all forms of flirting within your relationship.

Here’s a tip to help you stay out of trouble: If you have to ask yourself whether what you’re about to do would be considered cheating or not, don’t go through with it. Just don’t.

Think it’s your man who is up to no good? Here are a few signs that should raise your hackles.

He randomly calls to ask where you are.
This could just be him being sweet and thoughtful, but it could also mean that he wants to avoid running into you when he’s with his number two.

His phone and his laptop are locked up tight.
You’d think he was privy to state secrets the way he keeps his messages and files under lock and key.

The physical intimacy feels a little different.
He’s either “tired” all the time or he’s overdoing it to compensate for something.
