Vilma Santos has been the most supportive “momskie” to Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano, especially now that the celebrity couple will soon welcome their bundle of joy (a baby girl whom they nicknamed little “Peanut," by the way).

In a vlog posted on September 11, the Star for All Seasons gave Jessy and Luis the most inspiring advice about parenthood.
“For you Daddy, for you Mommy, it’s going to be the next chapter in your lives. I am not saying it’s going to be very, very smooth,” she admits. “Still, the most important thing is lagi kayong mag-iisip nang pareho, as one. Kasi wala na kayong choice eh, mag-partner kayo.”

She continued by emphasizing that the soon-to-be parents will most likely encounter challenges, but it’s part of the journey. “May mga time na mag-aaway kayo, sa totoo lang. May time na pag-aawayan niyo din si Peanut,” Vilma shared.
“Ang pinaka-importante [is] as long as the love and respect [are] there.
Uulitin ko, the most important unit in our society is family. Lahat ng inspirasyon, strength, encouragement—lahat ‘yan manggagaling [sa] pamilya.” Well said!
