As a mom, you’re probably not in a hurry for your daughter to grow up, but you have to admit that you want her to enjoy all the perks of her tween years, which naturally includes developing her first real crush--not the kind that kindergarten tots get, mind you, but the kind that inspires love poems on pretty stationary and mixed CDs (We know you know what we're talking about!).

But just as exciting as this boys-are-not-disgusting phase is comes the danger of your daughter getting her first taste of rejection as well.
