Being a mom to two-year-old Connor is probably Maggie Wilson-Consunji's most rewarding experience yet. The beauty queen, model, and entrepreneur can't help but gush about it in her interview with Good Housekeeping Philippines. "No amount of reading and researching is gonna prepare you for what motherhood is going to be like," she says.

The story of Connor's birth, however, was anything but sunshine and roses. "I had an emergency C-section so I was in labor for 12 hours," Maggie tells the magazine, explaining that Connor came out a little blue, so the doctors still had to revive him.

Her husband, real estate mogul Victor Consunji, was there for her throughout the whole ordeal. "He was there the entire time. He took pictures when they cut me open, he was watching everything. Super lakas ng loob. I don’t think I could do that."
