Congratulations! You’ve just confirmed what you’ve already suspected for weeks—you’re pregnant! Now that you know you’re about to become a mom, you’ll need to make a few changes in your lifestyle, starting with your diet. After all, what you consume today has a direct effect on your baby’s future.
Anything that is unpasteurized, raw, or rare, for example, is a definite no-no, especially since it may contain bacteria and parasites that could harm your baby. Anything that contains alcohol is also off the table.
