As a working mom, we understand that you can’t always make it home by dinnertime. Sometimes, you have deadlines to finish—that report won’t write itself—and sometimes, even if you’re not held up at work, there are just too many cars along EDSA that clocking out early wouldn't make a difference! Now we know it’s tempting to just stay late at the office every evening, but we urge you not to give up just yet. At a special lunch hosted by Del Monte Philippines, family expert Dr. Lillian Leynes-Juadiong, Ph.D., says that it's important for moms everywhere to have dinner together with their families, even if it’s only once a week. “It’s the only time of the day when families can reconnect, and plan, and recharge together,” she says.

For Del Monte Philippines, the time for bonding with the family happens on Wednesdays, or rather, #FamilyWednesdates. What about you? Which day would you choose to leave free for family dinners? Let us know in the comments section!
