Love is a wonderful feeling, but with it comes pain when it ends. Falling in and out of love today is more complicated than ever. People are just more messed up, which make heartaches more complicated. Below, we break down the most common endings of real-life love stories.

1. The "I Met Someone New" Breakup
Fine, we understand that the heart wants what the heart wants, but does one really need to find perfection in someone else when you're supposedly committed to another one?  Being betrayed by the person you really trust hurts like hell. You don't deserve to be treated that way.

2. The "Sorry, I'm Still Broken" Breakup
It isn't going to help if your past relationship is still haunting your mind and soul. If you analyze it, you are bringing a third party in your current relationship—your ex. We understand that you've been extremely hurt by your former lover, but you're being unfair with your present partner.

Let him go. Allow him to be happy with someone who is ready and overflowing with love, not someone who is broken and is just looking for someone to fill the emptiness in her heart.

3. The Detox Breakup
Both of you have done everything, but trouble seems to be a part of your relationship. It takes so much effort to make things work that it's starting to get exhausting. The setup is too toxic, and it's bringing out the worse in you and him.

Just because you love someone doesn't mean you have to be together. Cut ties and breathe. You don't need that negativity in your life. You need to pause for a moment and think.
4. The Final Notice Breakup
When you find yourself setting a deadline and an ultimatum to you boyfriend, then you're on your way to a Final Notice breakup. A good example would be this: You'll drop him like a hot potato if he hasn't proposed on your anniversary after X number of years of being together.

5. The Mutual Breakup

Probably the most peaceful breakup a couple can have. You can also file under this Gwyneth Paltrow's famous Conscious Uncoupling with former husband Chris Martin. Both exes end the relationship in good terms—the breakup can even be a relief for both parties.

6. The Love That Can Never Be Breakup
Although you were never really boyfriend-girlfriend, we should still consider this a breakup. Some, if not most, come from almost loves, those men whom you nearly got into a relationship but never got there. With some twisted turn of events, making things official with him becomes simply impossible. He's your ex-future boyfriend.

7. The "He Disappeared" Breakup
Similar to an almost love, this one has a hanging ending. To anyone who has been ghosted,  you deserve to label it as a breakup. You also invested feelings, and you were made to believe that the feelings were mutual. Being left when you aren't ready to let go can shatter your heart into broken pieces. You may even question yourself if there is something wrong with you—stop overthinking. Don't waste your time thinking about somebody who isn't thinking about you.

Whatever breakup you may have gone through, always remember that you can pick yourself up and move forward. You need to free yourself from a relationship that isn't helping you grow to a better person. you deserve to be happy and to be with someone who can love you unconditionally. If you're having a hard time, try these techniques to unchain your heart from the pain.
