Planning a wedding may seem like a gargantuan task—especially if you don’t know where to start—but once you’ve made the big decisions, everything else will be easier to manage. Your first agenda on the list: the wedding colors.

Based on Pantone’s color report, there are 10 gorgeous hues to watch for this Spring/Summer 2013. We played around with six of them to inspire you to make your own color combinations for your wedding! Check out the mood boards below:

1. Linen and African Violet

Neutrals like Linen go with everything, so they’re always a safe choice, but pair them up with a vivid color such as African Violet, and your wedding will look like a flower in full bloom.

If you and your husband-to-be want to have a garden wedding, this color combination will marry with the actual environment well.

2. Monaco Blue and Lemon Zest

For couples who don't want to take themselves too seriously, this color combination is a dream. It's a good peg for future husbands and wives who are eager to take the road less traveled for their nuptials.

Simplicity is key here, as too much detail might overwhelm the guests.

3. Grayed Jade and Nectarine

Both these colors are the answer to last year's growing appreciation of emerald and coral. They surprisingly blend well with each other, exuding a kind of warmth that's perfect for a small wedding.

This color combination helps make the guests feel a little more like family, and not just people whom you see only during special occasions.
