LEGO blocks are something we all played with as children. Who can forget the endless hours spent searching through tubs of colorful bricks so that we could build miniature houses, castles, and other buildings? But for a group of LEGO enthusiasts, those little plastic blocks are more than just toys. They can be used to make art.

Spurred by a love of country and a lot of creativity, Bricks Philippines teamed up with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to create a one-of-a-kind representation of the Philippine Islands. A large Philippine map made entirely out of LEGO blocks is currently being exhibited at the Atrium of the SM Mall of Asia (MOA). This map doesn't just show the shape of the country--famous sights such as the Banaue Rice Terraces, the Chocolate Hills, and even the San Juanico Bridge are incorporated into its design. Scroll through our gallery and check out photos of the exhibit, but should you want to see the full map, you have until August 27 to see the real thing at MOA.
