Following the craziness brought about by flight cancellations and delays at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport over the weekend, the thought of flying to your favorite destination may be out of the question (or maybe even traumatic) right now. But who can resist an honest-to-goodness seat sale? Philippine Airlines, the country's flag carrier, has extended the booking dates for their September Madness Sale until August 24.

Initially running until August 17 only, the promo offers domestic flights for as low as P488 (to Kalibo) and international flights for as low as U.S. $79 (to Hong Kong). Travel period is from September 1 to 30.

If you have plans to travel early next year, then this one from AirAsia is for you. The Malaysian airline named one of the World's Best Low-Cost Airlines has also announced another big sale for travelers.

Fares go as low as P890 (to Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, and Cebu) if you book between August 20 and 26. The rate is for members of AirAsia BIG, the airline's loyalty program, which you can join through AirAsia's website. Travel period is from August 20 to February 28, 2019.
