Anyone who thinks that one woman alone can't make a difference clearly hasn't met Kooky Tuason. The performance poetry artist, advocate, and educator has been a dynamic symbol of individuality and womanity ever since the early days of her radio show Bigkas Pilipinas and the release of her Romancing Venus records.

And with Picket Lines: Dialogues Between Eves, Among Eves and For Eves, a book that contains 100 evocative photos of women with poems written on their bodies, Kooky is tearing down more walls, clearing the way for every woman who aspires to be more than whom society wants her to be.
