Good news, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo fans!
If, just like us, you still don't have the time (and the leaves) to visit Bok Chicken in South Korea, then this restaurant in San Fernando City, La Union will make you really, really, really happy. Bok Chicken LU was inspired by the well-loved Korean drama, which stars real-life lovers Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk. (via Inquirer.net)
The restaurant, according to Inquirer's interview with owner Kate Tadifa, was inspired by her love for K-Drama, cooking, and Korean food, and of course, WFKBJ which she said helped relieve her stress after work.
Just like Bok Joo's dad's resto, Bok Chicken LU offers Korean fried chicken, served with free kimchi and picked radish. Plus, they also serve other K-dishes, like kimchi stew, bingsu, and kimchi pancake.
And in case you want more, they also sell Korean goodies, like strawberry milk, sausages, and choco pie!
Since it opened, a ton of people have already visited the place to experience eating like Bok Joo and her friends.
We really can't blame them, though, because we're dying to go there ASAP, too. SUUUHWEEEG!
