These days, not everyone based in Metro Manila heads out to the provinces in observance of Holy Week--some just stay in the city and get their much-needed rest. If you'd rather enjoy the empty streets of the metro but still feel like you're treating yourself to some luxury R&R, here are a few places you can book your Holy Week staycation:
The Alpha Suites Makati
The Alpha Suites in Makati are serviced appartments that are perfect if you want to treat your family to something nice for the long weekend. Their Easter-cation in the City package includes interesting activities courtesy of their indoor ammenities, including free blockbuster screenings as well as an Easter Egg hunt on the 21st. Room rates are at P5,850++ from April 13 to 21.
Makati Diamond Residences
If you want a bit of downtime with your S.O., the Diamond Residences is a good option. Book a room for P5,800 (net) per night, and you get welcome snacks and drinks, breakfast for two, and 20 percent off their Easter Brunch Buffet, which include these yummy meals: "miso rubbed baked salmon, roasted lamb rack with mint sauce and rosemary au jus, Pinakbet rice with crispy bagnet, and tender slab of U.S. Angus ribeye with Brussels sprouts and baby carrots."
Marco Polo Ortigas
Marco Polo Ortigas is a three-time Forbes Five-Star Awardee. Starting at P6,400 a night, you can treat yourself to high-end ammenities and customer service. Their buffet restaurant Cucina and their ground floor cafe Cafe Pronto will be serving Easter-inspired goodies, and if kids are in the equation, you can also enjoy A Nautical Adventure, an Easter event full of arts, crafts, and games! Just remember to inqure about tickets for the activity prior to booking!
Seda Hotel Vertis North Quezon City
This luxury hotel located in the north of the metro offers different packages to suit your needs. Until May 31, you can enjoy their Colors of Summer promo, which gets you a Deluxe Room at P5,700++ a night, which is inclusive of welcome drinks, a buffet breakfast for two at Misto, P1,000 dining credits, late check out, and a complimentary mocktail with every massage treatment.
