4. Cebu
There are a number of places to check out and things to do in Cebu. Apart from going on a historical tour to see churches, you can go to Oslob to swim with the whalesharks or go on an easy hike to see Tumalog Falls. Or go to Kalanggaman Islet (in Malapascua Island) if you want a remarkably beautiful and pristine beach.
