If we’re talking about the quintessential idea of a honeymoon, it’s a no-brainer for newlyweds to indulge on a trip to a picturesque beach, lounging by the sea with cocktails in hand after the wedding frenzy. But given Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna’s penchant for the unconventional, it comes as no surprise that they opted for somewhere off the beaten path.
The couple, who tied the knot in a dreamy villa in Bataan last November, recently jetted off to Tanzania for their honeymoon—and from the looks of it, they're having the time of their lives! With Ellen’s son Elias in tow, the lovebirds have been generously sharing snippets of their family’s African adventures on Instagram, effectively giving us #FOMO.
Below, check out some of our favorite snapshots so far from the wanderlust-inducing trip, straight from Ellen and Derek's grids.
All the dreamy photos from Ellen and Derek's honeymoon:
1. The couple opted for a suite at The Manor at Ngorongoro, a luxurious family cottage reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-architecture style. Each night reportedly costs USD $1,958 per night (P100,000), a decent amount considering its access to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, famed as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World.’
2. The lovebirds are all-smiles as they embark on an al fresco lunch with Elias and their assistant. We can't get over how lovely the view is! The outdoors are truly Africa’s strong suit, don't you think?
3. No trip to Africa is complete without a Safari adventure, where the family gazed at the free-roaming wild animals at the area. It looks like they had a fun time with the friendly locals, too!
Aww, happiness looks so good on this fam! We can't wait for more stunning photos.
