It seems staying connected 24/7 can have an ill effect on our health.
Refinery29 recently wrote an article on electrohypersensitivity (EHS), a condition brought about by constant exposure to technology and radiation. According to separate Huffington Post report, people with EHS experience dizziness, nauseatic spells, and short-term memory loss. Wi-Fi seems harmless and beneficial, but the said side effects are disturbing—all of these are directly related to the brain's function.
To keep your health in check, simple things like turning off your wireless router and mobile phone before you sleep, switching your tablets and other 3G devices on airplane mode, and taking a tech break from time to time could do wonders for your health. According to the Refinery29 article, people (not necessarily with EHS) who have tried to lessen their exposure reported to have a better sleep and they feel more energized the next day--so make sure you take a break from your gadgets every day.
